This was a wonderful review and I haven’t found the information provided here in any of the videos. I’ve probably watched all the reviews on this car. He also broke the stereotype of luxury car owners not worrying about mileage which is true, but I do care about the range of my car on a full tank and mileage is directly proportional for that. Since I’m fixed on buying this car I feel like I can upstage the sales rep after the watching the video when I go in to book the car :D
Have you taken the test drive of this GLA 220d 4MATIC AMG line? Coz I'm about to book this variant too but haven't taken the test drive of it. 1) Do you feel the jerks/shifts/any kind of hesitation from the Twin clutch gearbox when you bury the throttle? 2) Is it the kneeroom and legroom adequate enough for two 6 footers one behind the other? 3) Is the ORVM big enough to give a big and clear view? (Coz in the videos it is looking comparatively smaller) 4) Is it stable at serious triple digit speeds? (120kmph+) and handling? 5) Does it has rear parking sensors and 2nd row centre armrest? 6) What about the ground clearence? 7) How does it absorb the larger potholes? (Because it has got big 19 inch alloys and side profile of only around 50 ig) 8) Comfortable for 2 average Indian adults with a child in 2nd row? (Ik therez a big transmission hump in the middle) 9) Driver/Co-Driver Seat base and width apt. for a lean 6.3ft man?
@@fadilrahman2157 yup I managed to take both the 2WD and the 4WD. They are pretty much the same on road, no issues with shifts and absolute pleasure to drive. You’ll only see the difference when we push the 4WD hard or off-road which I couldn’t do cuz the roads were ideal around the showroom. Though I’m going to test the X1 and also the BMW 3 series before I can decide. You know, a BMW is a BMW 😬
They could've extended the wheelbase a bit more longer so as to make more kneeroom for 2nd row occupants as anyone whoz 6feet and above/more will not be comfortable. Will be practical for people 5'11 and below/ for nuclear families.
Mercedes Benz is the Maruti of the luxury segment. They have more models than Maruti in sale in market. I own a GLE 400d, it is just 14 months old and it has visited workshop 16 times. It has poor quality of plastics, audio system and the cabin is full of rattle. I am stuck with it after spending 1.18 Crs on road Mumbai. Observe the plastics behind the steering wheel and door panels. My front camera got replaced, brakes make squeaking noises even after replacement. Mercedes Benz is losing its plot. Stay away is my advice.
