    As a working professional, the value of 10-Bit D Log recording is what separated the Air 2S at its price point. If I was wanting to buy one today, I'd still go with the Air 2S for that same reason. Great review!

    I like the AIR 2S because of the precision landing. Will land on a dime in auto RTH not 6 feet away. Sure it's good to do a manual landing but it's really a handy feature if it's too windy to hand catch for example.

    I'd like to see the two shoulder bags next to each other to see how much space the Mini 3 really saves. Also, how big is the screen on the new controller? How big compared to a typical cell phone? How about the brightness? If I lived in Europe or Canada then I'd have to go Mini (and I'd be happy). But what about the speed comparison? How fast can the Mini 3 go while tracking a car going up a hill? Which one would you rather have at night, or on a windy day? How much better is the detail on the 2s?

I've seen alot of people saying their mini3 runs out of transmission range 200-300m ...whilst this might not be an issue for some people, it may be for others. For me this coupled with more powerful motors and wind resistance of Air2s makes it worthy of consideration. I own neither but as a mini2 owner already, I'm leaning towards Air2s

    Air 2s has a stronger motors and way more powerful and stable in high wind, And take better and more professional shots compare to mini 3. Bigger sensor mean better quality and 10bit d-log is a game changer. Also air 2s active track and obstacles avoidance is way better than mini 3, And you can buy this new controller separately and use it with air 2s. So this not a big deal, air 2s also record high quality 5k videos and also take better quality picture, And air 2s is a faster drone in term of top speed and this is help a lot in emergency situations or fast high quality shots. Air 2s has lot more internal storage compare to mini 3. Also air 2s has a auxiliary light for better control of landing and sense the environment better in low lights. Air 2s also support AirSense but mini 3 doesn't have that feature, air 2s propellers are easily removable with quick release feature. I can keep go on but i think this is enough...I don't say mini 3 is a bad drone. I personally like it. But compare it to the professional drone like air 2s is not a good idea 😁

      The F1.7 aperture on the M3P gives much better low light performance than the 2S. For those that don't know much about photography that's a 1.5 f stop advantage which means it gets 2.5x the amount of light compared to an F2.8. So this more then makes up for the slightly larger sensor on the 2S. Mix that with the new controller and price and the M3P is a real winner for most people.
      Check out this M3P low light example:
      czcams.com/video/aTB1e7deugc/video.html
      The 2S starts to fall apart in those kinds of shots and that's a big advantage for the M3P.

    Out of the 2 drones the Air 2 s is no doubt the better drone, however the Mini 3 excels in the lack of rules , restrictions department , for that reason alone is worth its full weight of less than 250g it’s just so easy to take on holiday , without the worry of breaking another country’s rules, although you should always check first, the Mini 2 is still a very good drone, but I will be getting the Mini 3 at some point, great comparison well done Alex/Chivo , Regards PS don’t crash it send it to me 😂 😂 😂

    • @izoyt
      @izoyt Před 2 lety +1

      What lack of rules exactly? In general, drone rules are same for all drones in the air. This sub 250g thing have been hyped to such extents, that facts are forgotten. So, can we settle once for all this EASA thing in EU (i'm sure that somebody else could give facts for other regions) without bs? In general this is how it goes:
      a) You still must register yourself as drone operator in your domestic eu country, doesn't matter if you fly drone under or over 250g. If it has recording device (mic/camera or both), you need to be registered and have proper visual identification (plate or sticker) placed on your drone with your operator id.
      b) If operated drone is under 250g, you don't need a1/3 license (which is valid for whole eu region) for it , if its over that limit, you need one. And additionally, you need a2 license to fly 900g-2kg drone (4kg and C marked with 2014) to fly within urban areas. In non urban (a3) areas, you can fly drones from 250g to 25kg with a1/3 license only, all current drones over 250g and without c mark will fall to this category after end of 2013.
      There are some local exceptions to this from eu country to country, so you must always check local rules, too, but let say this are some rough generic rules, related to drone mass etc.

    I think its important to note that the DJI Mini 3 has a slight wobble/warping effect in some of the footage because 1. The footage taken was in high winds and 2. One of the propellers was damaged (missing about a centimeter off of the end of one of the propellers) when they filmed this and they didn't realize it. It was pointed out in one of their other videos.

    • @WeTalkUAV

      Trust me it's not what you think! The Air 2S is still a killer because it has less resolution. Why? The sensor on it is a 1 inch 20 megapixels compared to a smaller sensor on Mini3 45 megapixels. The pixel pitch on Air 2S will be wayyyyyyyy bigger than that on Mini3 and thus will suck in light like a vacuum compared to mini3. So, in low light (sunrise, sunset, night etc.), Air 2S will still have a killer dynamic range. If you're looking for professional work, then Air 2S will still be the better one for sure!
