I cried with laughter when you said you kicked Marge. I still remember my older sister and mother watching me play the game for the first time, and watching in shock as I proceded to kick Marge repeatedly. "You can't do that!!" as I'm laughing my ass off. Man, what a time to be alive. Thank you for that memory.

I was so pleasantly surprised by this game when I bought it in my local shop. Big, unique locations, races, engaging missions... truly one of the brightest parts of the childhood
I’m sure my daughter resented me taking over her GameCube for hours at a time to play this. Alas, it gave me the impression that all modern games were this good. Not so much.
Many PS2 games feel outdated and way too short/shallow when you replay them. But this one is golden. This game isn't carried by nostalgia.

What an absolute classic game
before my dad left, this game was my favourite memory. yes, my parents let me play hit and run at 5 years old, me and my dad would play it for hours. it really was a big part of my first year or two playing videogames and it still has a soft spot in my heart

It's crazy how good this game was written. You can really see the show's humor imbued in the game. I didn't feel that way when I first played it, but right now I feel it's one of the big reasons for their success.
This game was insane, probably the best Simpons game together with the Arcade one
The arcade one was so fun. I barely remember it though. They had one at my local McDonald’s. Played it all the time when I was a kid

Loved this game, made you feel part of the Simpson’s world, Lisa’s level my favorite, driving around the beautiful sunset for hours on end.
One of favourite things to do is kick the green lawn chairs which get sent flying through the sky
Whenever I play that level, I make the same face Lisa makes when she daydreams and imagines she lives literally anywhere else

I had no idea all this stuff was in the game. I played it and just ran into stuff, did a couple things that Marge asked for and kept running into stuff and kicking people. Then I got bored. I wish I knew how deep the game went.

I LOVED this game when it came out, being a massive Simpsons fan.
Its funny how the developers hid jokes, sex and violence in what was basicly GTA for children... a tribute to the writing style of the show itself. The layout of Sprinfield was spot on, a lot of work went into this game. Its "lame" i guess but still a ton of fun. And a rare open world for the era. Simpsons characters look really odd in 3D.

But its a full 3D map of Springfield. Theres 1000 episode references, easter eggs, hilarious interactions, costumes.
Its not so lame that its overshadowed how awesome and fun it is. Thats all I meant. I love Hit n Run.

Just get a good emulator for your phone and put it to 1080p 🤟👌 and of course find a good site to get the game 🙄 "Legally" 🙄😂 you will probably have to download a compressed file then uncompress the game after download to play it on the emulator

God, this game, exactly how i remembered it! I loved the homicidal rampages u could do😂 this was the closest i could get to convince my mom to get something like gta.
Every time I find myself on a ship I try to push as much people as possible into the ocean to keep them hydrated as this helps spread the good word of your channel😂
Terrible idea, people should not be drinking ocean water because sadly it does the opposite of hydrate you because of all the salt in the water.

You forgot to mention that this game has an epic music score. This game has some of the greatest music for its time. I was also told that music from the Twisted Metal games would fit this game perfectly.
The commentary and quick refreshment to the game was awesome. Brought back a lot of nostalgia.

I played this game at my friend's house long long time ago, and I remember I was astounded by how good if a "GTA replica" it was. This is exactly the game you can buy your children if you don't want them to play GTA with the excessive violence. I remember the hidden features were some of the best ive seen in a game from back then, and the gameplay itself was quite enjoyable. Im happy that the speedrun community still keeps this game alive. Definitely a game worth playing if you're up for something different than your typical GTA.

I regrettably had to give up this game along with several others during a difficult time in my life but I have nothing but fond memories with it. Hopefully we can see a remaster one day. It definitely deserves it.

From what I remember some things change when you have the date set to Christmas and Thanksgiving, idk if Halloween is also in there.

As kids we used to play tag. In 2 player you could steal the passenger from another player so we'd just get the passenger not deliver them and then play tag for hours. Good times.

Loved this game so much, what kills me is I couldn't deliver the toxic waste as grandpa Simpson. Years later I discovered that was the final mission and I lowkey am pissed I never finished this game :') I know I'd whoop it now but i swear i tried so many times as a kid. Also my grandfather surprised me with this game and I'll treasure the memories forever.

Me, my brother and my sister used to have this game. It was so fun getting into random people's cars and driving them until they exploded, but it still allowed you to drive what was basically the burnt skeleton of the car, only problem was that it drove real slow lol. And those giant bee things, I remember those too, they were a pain to deal with. Good times, good times. 😄

This game, Tony Hawk Pro Skater (various), Grand Theft Auto, GUN, Harvest Moon A Wonderful Life were some of my absolute favorites from my preteen period lol.
I remember the drive home after Mum brought this game for me on ps2. I must have read the cover 100 times before we got home. And played all day. Absolutely brilliant game👌👌
