189 correct! Thanks!Larry Carroll😀☘🌎
@larrycarroll5733, I'd say you cheated; I also have a world atlas, but I didn't use it, and still got an 87% accuracy rate: 169 of 195.
I only made one capital mistake. Koror used to be Palau's capital. Now, it's Ngerulmud. The new Burindi's capital is Gitega. It is not Bujumbura anymore
Thank you. I thought I got one wrong.

QuizzyQuest, after my last post this AM, I've been further checking on some things that I figured you'd appreciate knowing. First, Wikipedia says Maldives is a region, not a country. Next, because it's odd, it's worth knowing: the country of Kiribati is pronounced KEER-ih-bass, with syllable 3 rhyming with the fish; also Palestine and Micronesia are definitely not countries.
I think you need to check your sources. Both Maldives and Micronesia are countries according to the UN website. Wikipedia is a great place to start, but the UN is definitive source as to who are recognised as countries and who are not.
By the way please do not argue that the country is the Federated States of Micronesia, because the full name of Australia is the Commonwealth of Australia. No one would argue that Australia is not a country because we do not use its full name. We use the shortened name for many countries.
Although the point about Kiribati’s pronunciation is well made. It is tricky, but it is reasonable to do the research.
what happened to Greenland?
Greenland isn't a state; il is Denmark.
QuizzyQuest, the #2 syllable of Namibia is 'mib', rather than 'meeb'. Micronesia = 'micro' as in small +'nesia' as in Poly-nesia, i.e., KNEE-zhuh; #69 is HAY-tea, not hah-EE-tea; Guyana is guy-AH-nah, not goo-YAH-nah; Papua (New Guinea) is POP-wah, or at least, that's how I've always heard it, including when I was there; Lesotho = leh-SUE-to.
I got 26 wrong, for an 87% accuracy rate. Also, this is the first I've heard that Tanzania's capital moved from Dar es Salaam to Dodoma, and the first I'd heard that Palestine has an official capital.

Most countries do not recognise Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, but consider it to be Tel Aviv.
Since when do other countries get to decide a nation's capital?
@@darrellklutey9775 When the capital is on a piece of contested land, that has been fought over for millennia and most countries in the UN think Israel is occupying illegally that is East Jerusalem. Most countries will not place their embassies in Jerusalem, to avoid inflaming tensions in the Middle East about the status of Jerusalem.
99%✅
Wait, if Taiwan, Palestine, Vatican etc made it to the list, then why not Western Sahara(in North-west Africa). Western Sahara is fully recognised by Organisation of African Unity(which is African Union now) but not the UN.
Countries such as Mexico, Venezuela, Iran, Vietnam, Nigeria, South Africa etc do recognised Western Sahara(India too but they withdrew their recognition in 2000.
•Lol, If Taiwan is a country, then Crimea too😂
Algiers is the capital of France.
Oh, for pity's sake, I just realized I'd messed up after I posted a few seconds ago; Maldives IS a country, but saying Micronesia is not was correct. I=yi-yi, some people's kids.
169😢
Well done!!!! Very good! 🎉
143 correct gueses and 52 wrong gueses.
No I can't 😅
😂👌
wtf 195????
impossible haha
true 🤣
I got all of them though
No
I have the impression you've forgotten two countries. The official number of countries, if you include the three semi-recognized ones (Palestine, Kosovo, Taiwan) is 197. Oh, yes, first of all, you've forgotten Ivory Coast. The other one is East Timor. And, by the way, stunning photos! But Astana has changed its name to Nur-Sultan now. And Burundi's new capital is Gitega.
Yes I kept waiting for Timor Leste and Cote D’Ivoire. The capital of Cote D’Ivoire kept coming up.
Nur-Sultan was changed back to Astana
@@darrellklutey9775 Okay l. I didn't know that. Thank you for the information.
I really dont appreciate the images that represent the African countries Burkina Faso was my last straw.
Please avoid adding irritating background music/noise..... In fact, background music is not at all required for learning videos.... Soothing background music can be added at a very low volume than your voice.... By adding, irritating background music /noise you are degrading the quality of your videos..
Then why don’t you just mute and watch… For most of almost all of us these music have kept the video interested… These funky so7nd is awesome for this type of videos just mute or dont watch you annoying bald KAREN ohh i mean KEVIN
Jerusalem is not the capital of the zionist entity.
190, Palestine is not a country.
@brentharker7868, now that you mention it, I that's what I thought as well.
