**Elderly Veteran SCAMMED by his own Lawn Guy!**

- #cjmowing After hours of searching we finally found a property tucked in the back of a neighborhood. The home belongs to a Veteran named Lee of Engineers who spent over 3 decades as a patrol officer. We hit the doorbell and offered our free mowing services. This honorable vet couldn't have been more happy and thankful for our free service to his lawn on Veterans Day as we were proud to provide the service to a fellow vet who has served our great county, The United States of America!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
As we spoke further, Lee informed us that his own lawn guy would cheat him by only mowing area's Lee could see as he is a disabled vet and mobility is limited. A friend who visited asked Lee why only certain parts of his yard was mowed. The friend help Lee out to see what he was talking about and Lee quickly realized he was being scammed by his own lawn guy. That's when Lee decided to let the lawn guy go which let to his yard ultimately becoming overgrown. Lee lost faith and trust in having a service provider who was cheating and not doing as they said they would.
As a service member of the armed forces for The United States of America, Lee didn't cheat his way around, We - Trish and Casey of CJ Mowing are proud to have provided the free service to a member of the forces that protect our great nation on of all days, Veterans Day!! The lawn care company that scammed Lee will get their just reward from the Lord for what they did. They should be ashamed. As for the tarp idea, limbs and leaves, are best. You might want to try a collapsible wagon to get you tub to the truck and possibly save you back a little that way. Keep up the amazing work you two do!🎉🎉

In this particular case, Lee was paying a lawn service provider, but they weren't doing the whole yard, only what Lee could see from the door. Skipping the side yards, in particular. Basically, cheating him as I'm sure they charged for the whole yard.
uno what's worse than not having the money? not being functional enough to do it on ur own anymore. it's such a personal loss.

Guys like you are really grand, looking out to our veterans. They have done a lot of work fighting for our country. Our beliefs are very different, and I am proud that we have people like Lee that goes out, putting their own lives in danger to protect all of us. Our veterans are our real rock stars. I have a video on my channel that shows what many of our veterans had to put up with while on duty. Many of the trucks they drove in order to do their duty came with no air conditioning, no seatbelt, no stereo system to listen to, no power steering and to top it all off, in order to drive those trucks, you had to shift them. Those trucks rode rough.

For me, the big thing that makes you stand out over most of the other CZcams channels is that you do not leave mounds and gobs of mulched up hay fields.. that looks absolutely horrible and justify leaving it because it was done for free.
People passing by aren't going to go by and say what a great job they did.
And they certainly wouldn't leave a business sign because it would be a terrible advertisement.

I have to admit that brought a tear to my eye. My father was a world war 2 vet and blessed to be able to afford help it’s so amazing to see people like you guys blessing people with random acts of kindness. My husband and I like to pay it forward when we go to drive thrus or I make meals for needy families when I hear about them. Every act of kindness changes the world a little bit for the better. You're the first American channel in this genre that I've seen that actually picks up the clippings instead of taking the easy option & using a leafblower to blow them back onto the lawn to suffocate the good grass. May I suggest a small gorilla cart to pick up the clippings instead of bending over to lift the bin? As someone with herniated discs from lifting heavy boxes repeatedly, I now opt for waist high assistance moving anything in my yard. Appreciate your work

Thanks for noticing that. In edit I opted to take out the conversation about the flag as we ultimately weren't able to put it up. The flag he had on his pole was old and weathered. Lee said he hates to leave it like that but the rope is deteriorating and he said in order to replace the flag the whole pole has to come out and it's too heavy. We bought him the flag as a gift midway during mowing (also not shown). He thanked us for the flag and said he has a friend who's out of town at the moment that can get the flag up for him when he returns.

The tarp is good for branches & shrub trimmings. So you don't have to make so many trips dragging them out. Grass can get heavy. Dry leaves on a tarp isn't bad unless they are wet! I love your videos! You two are so funny! You work so well together! Amazing job it looks Awesome!
