2024 Coombes Connor Memorial Cycle Race

The windy conditions produced great racing in the Coombes Connor Memorial outside Drogheda, the undulating circuit separated the men from the boys and the cream came to the top.
In the A1 & A2 race UCD's Liam Crowley played his cards right and held off Daire Feeley (All Human/VeloRevolution) on the last lap to finish on his own after 116kms of racing in very windy conditions with heavy showers.
The best performance on the day was by young 17 year old Conor Murphy (Team Caldwell Cycles) who stormed ahead of the pack to win the A3 race with a very impressive solo victory.

The noise from those disc brakes is like a cats claws scrapping through metal😣 Never in my life have I seen riders all sitting in the saddle at a spirit finish 🤔
