My favorite song by DMB. There is a legendary performance of this with Jeff Coffin's former band Bela Fleck and the Flecktones in Canada 2002. The first time the band goes off in the version we just listened to was to "Sinister Minister" by the Flecktones. They used to play together often with Flecktones bassist Victor Wooten guesting with the band. You might be familiar with saxophonist Maceo Parker, and he does a live version of "What Would You Say" in Chicago that is worth checking out. I'm glad there is someone out here checking out these legendary live performances. There are so many.
I meet Victor and his brother backstage at the DMB concert in 1998 when they opened for Dave! Super cool guys & Victor played with DMB during their set. I remember him swinging his bass around his neck 😂 I got to meet Dave that night too. Absolutely amazing 🤩
