When I said that Angelina has the voice of an angel I was paying her a compliment. I have never heard what an angel might sound like but it is MY opinion that if I heard an angel sing it would sound like Angelina. Like I said, THIS IS MY OPINION. I would have listened to your opinion had you had one but you resorted to making a rude comment asking if I often heard voices in my head. No sir. I've never heard voices in my head but I have dealt with rude, inconsiderate people who hide behind their computers and say things that they probably wouldn't say to someone's face.

@@MegaSlowburner Ha. I own a pair of "Ulsrud" golf pants. They are flames. They are made by a company called loudmouthgolf.com. They actually give Ulsrud the pants for free. The only caveat is this. They have to wear the pants the company chooses. They ship them before the event and they open them before each game!! So they don't even know what they are going to wear!!!

You are not alone. She always moves me to tears. I was so worried that Simon might throw shade at her, because she is so iconic and marches to her own beat. But in typical sublime Angelina World Simon was as enraptured as the rest of us. So go ahead and respond to her singing in which ever manner is called forth, she does it to everybody.

Yes, Grace and Angelina, two artists who put that special something into their singing, because they are such special people - and wonderfully talented. And also admirable because they don't take their vocal gift for granted and rest on it, but devote themselves to their art.

Angelina did an incredible job with this song. Those of us that are very familiar with her work were not really "surprised" by it, as we have watched her put her own jazzy spin on so many classic songs, but I think everyone was equally blown away by it.

This has been happening for a while. In her 2nd performance on Norway's Got Talent she was on stage singing acapella. All of the other contestants were on stage, apparently that's how this round works, they just step forward and perform when it's their turn. Watched it and thought, oh, those kids are realizing they're just competing for 2nd place. Felt sorry for them.

Grandmother, mother, little sister Juliet, dad were in the front row. What Angelina sang was age appropriate (she turns 14 on jan 10) and in these days of school shootings in the USA, a wise choice. I think you'll agree. Yes, the song was very short, not even really like a song, but they loved it and her.
Her mom wouldn't let Angelina sing Back to Black without changing the words. There's another song, same thing, i dont remember which one. Mom said in an interview that she "puts the brakes on."😂

I still remember that I was shocked in a positive way, and I have ever since that time been a fan. A fan of a child. I wouldn't believed it if you had asked me 10 years ago.
I have never been interested in the jazz music genre , but Angelina's interpretations of old jazz music classics has "opened my eyes" for that kind of music for sure, and in a way "touched me".
In the past year she has posted some great covers of modern music as well.

Petra, you are spot on. Angelina is destined to be a superstar. I only hope she has representation that will have her best interests at heart and not be in it just for the money. I have never been a fan of the vocal "gymnastics" that so many singers try to do and fail at miserably. Being a former music teacher and jazz musician (old school), I compare everyone to Ella Fitzgerald when it comes to the musicality of vocal embellishments. Of pop singers, Donnie Hathaway, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and a few others are some who I feel got it right. While it is early, Angelina will certainly be a part of that group, too. On another note, I have viewed everything Angelina has on CZcams. I am concerned that she is being over-sexualized. She's 14 years old, for God's sake. Let her be a teenager and allow her to grow into the megastar she was born to be. Tack!

It looks like Petra's daughter is developing an appreciation for music. Perhaps a lullaby would be helpful like the famous Abendsegen from the opera Hansel and Gretel. A version by two women can be found on CZcams entitled "Abendsegen (Humperdinck Hansel and Gretel) Nikiteanu & Hartleliu". A boy and a girl sing the same lullaby at "Bielefelder Kinderchor-Abendsegen 1986".
