  • On this video our August 3, 2021 visit to SEA is documented, from just inside the front door of the departures level all the way to getting on the plane. The lines for the Delta Airlines baggage-drop and TSA security were fairly long on this day.

    Seeing all the people in the airport makes me feel a little more comfortable about flying. I have never flown and I want to next month, trying to get the courage.

      Hundreds of thousands of passengers fly on commercial flights in the U.S. each day. Although crowds can be intimidating to some, when trying a new activity, the calmness of a crowd in airport and on flights can ease anxiety. I hope you have a great flight!

    This video has been definitely the most helpful out of all the videos available on CZcams as of May 2022. Thank you for the graphic map plus indicators as well as the written commentary. The airlines usually suggest a arrival of 2 hrs before flight time and I think I might back that up with a additional half hour to be safe. Would to know if baggage and ticket/security are on the same floor level but just opposite of each other?

      Yes they are the same level. Someone with a strong arm could throw a baseball between them. Thanks for the comment!

      Just try to be there around 2 hours early (which is the generally recommended time). It’s worse on mornings when cruise ships return into the Port of Seattle.

    First time flyer here. Do you have to print your tickets, or can you use your phone, like a QR code?

    • @bozy106
      @bozy106  Před rokem +3

      Most of the airlines now have electronic boarding passes (usually in the form of a scannable QR code) available if you check in using their app or website. Some people like to print their boarding passes at a kiosk once they arrive at the airport just as a souvenir or a backup in case their phone dies.

    Should I go to Delta if I’m flying with KLM?

    • @bozy106
      @bozy106  Před 2 lety

      I’m not 100% certain but I believe that all KLM flights out of Seattle are operated by codeshares Delta, Virgin Atlantic or Air France. If your flight indicates that it is operated by Delta or your flight number begins with “DL” (such as DL1234) then you should check in at the Delta counter.
