  • Watch the end game of landing a near grander giant bluefin tuna on Sweet Dream Sport Fishing. The fish measured 118" long and over 960 pounds. This group of guys from Pennsylvania got a life time of memories as they teamed up to help us land this massive fish, You too can experience the catch of a life time by joining us for a Giant Tuna Fishing Charter from historic Gloucester MA.

    Wow just seeing this out of the box czcams.com/users/postUgkxQr1yd4Zc6qJF-scTB6Zb9dQbVpviuRxB recommend I have yet to fish with this set up, but based on the first hands on appeal, I can tell this is going to change the way i pack and carry to a whole new level. If you fish like i do, you know the smaller and less stuff the better. I’ve added a photo of just some of my gear so you can see how serious i am about fishing.

      A lot of tuna are capable of reaching this size but it comes down to them getting caught at an early age. This Tuna is most likely over 20 years old

    What I want to know is if at the dock did the Capt. claim it because he has another lic. which allows him possession of the fish. There is a case like this that was settled on The People's Court where even though they chartered the boat the Capt. claimed the fish and sold it for a tidy sum. All they got was the memories.

    • @portcullis5622
      @portcullis5622 Před 5 lety

      Tuna certainly need to be strictly regulated, but it does not go far enough. Bluefin tuna, in particular, are in real trouble. As people are willing to pay ridiculous amounts for this species, the future looks bleak. Greedy, moronic, macho game anglers like this are just pushing the species closer to extinction by taking out larger fish (the largest fish of most species are female). A real pity that they could not use tags and catch and release to help with research. I am not quite a fish hugger; I am an angler and I don't have a problem with sensible harvesting of some fish. I just happen to think that fish are more beautiful alive than they are dead.

    I looked this up because of this book called "The young boy (or man) And the sea" Because my teacher assigned me and some of my classmates to read it.
    Its a really good book, its about this 12 year old boy named Skiff Beaman, or I just call him Little Skiff. Little Skiff liked to fish with his mom and dad, but one day, his mom died and ever since his mom died, Skiffs dad has been too depressed to get off the couch and stop drinking beer and sleeping all day, so Little Skiff has to do everything himself. Skiffs family is poor, and he thinks that the money he earns will fix his life. He tries getting money by putting down 200 lobster traps, but that fails. Then he tries to catch a giant 900 pound bluefin tuna on this small boat he called the Mary rose. The Bluefin tuna almost kills him when Little skiff tries to catch the tuna.
    sorry about writing a whole darn summary about a book-

    If you sell the tuna he catches to Japan with proper treatment and refrigeration to keep it fresh without damaging it, it will sell for $ 50,000~100,000

      Quality, freshness and taste are the most important in Japan. The degree of injury of the fish caught, blood removal to keep it fresh, refrigeration method, natural rather than farmed, if all grades are recognized, the value is 50,000 ~ 100,000 $
      from Japan
