  • Off-road riding in the Pyrenees on my Honda CRF300 Rally. This video covers day 4 of the ACT Pyrenees between Vilaller and Ansó. This part has a length of 265 km. The mountains are getting lower compared to day 2 and 3.
ACT Pyrenees is a track of about 1160 kilometers through the Pyrenees. The track starts at Cape Creus at the Mediterranean Sea and ends in San Sebastian at the Atlantic Ocean. Is crosses a few times the border between Spain, France and Andorra. The gpx files can be downloaded from the site of Adventure Country Tracks (adventurecount...). A large part of the track is off road.

Hello, I'm glad you like my videos. I use the Michelin Anakee Wild tires. These tires offer good grip on these gravel and sometimes rocky trails. Also on the pavement they had a good grip. Good luck.

Hi really enjoying your films, can you tell me what time of year did you do the trip, were you camping or hotels , if hotels did you pre book and finally what average daily mileage did you do?

      Hello Dave.
Nice to hear that you like my videos.
I did the trip in May. The nights I stayed in hotels, mostly because of the extra luggage needed for camping and the possibility of charging my batteries in the hotels. I booked the hotels one day in advance.
The average daily distance was about 230 km. For me personally it was a bit far. The breakfast in the hotels was often at about 8 in the morning so I couldn't leave early. Also I need quite a bit of time for taking the droneshots. And most of all I'm not a fast rider. In May however, the sunset is late so you have a long time before it's getting dark.
I really enjoyed the ACT Pyrenees.
      Good luck

    Hi. Thanks for sharing.
I am preparing my ACT Pyrenees.
You did it in early May or late?
In the videos you do not sgow hard tracks. There are not or you did not film those?
    Thanks.

Hello. I did the ACT Pyrenees in the second week of May. There are not really hard sections. As usual some of the sections are steeper than it looks on the gopro footage. I wish you a nice ride.
