That coolant breather pipe should be fitted on the outside of the coolant expansion bottle in that cut out that runs down the expansion tank. It's on the back of the tank at the minute, near the exhaust down pipes. 🎅👍

Indeed, just done mine and it was fitted in the recess on the side of the tank

I have a 2011 BMW R1200GS that doesn’t start up well or at all when it is warmed up after a long ride. I just checked the valve clearances and they were all in spec. I tried jumping it today with a portable 12v jump pack and it fired right up, better than it has ever started. Should I try replacing the battery? AGM or lithium? Any brands you recommend? The bike starts okay when it’s cold but I wouldn’t say it starts very quickly, slightly hesitates on first crank. Thanks!
