this video is a great refresher. i dont have these issues when playing traditional sports, but i play fighting games & struggle with the mental aspect. me messing an input up is def my biggest trigger. especially now... im not that good compared to alot of my peers. i mess up inputs very often (including ones vital for my character). 90% of the time i cant reset my mental and usually end up losing the set. in that 10%, i usually start to play stripped down. i only do less execution heavy inputs and try again next round/life. rinse & repeat. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt. but sometimes winning is better than never winning. i just need to be more aware of my triggers so i can put my negative feelings towards positive change

I didn't even know athletes had cognitive abilities.
