Really a nice guy. Really. I met him once at Comic Con. When I did I pretend to act scared and the first thing I said was "what are you." Like the criminal in Batman 2. He literally played along with me and grabbed me by the collar and saying his iconic quote "I'm Batman." We both laughed and had a short chat. I remembered asking him that if he laughed at Jack Nicolson's Joker jokes, he admitted that he did and suprisingly he was trying so hard not to smile or giggle under that mask as he wants his character to be as gruesome and dark as possible. I still had the Hot wheels Batmobile he signed for me the same time I'd met him. Good memories.😂😂😂😂
Cool story. I bet he really is just a guy.
Wow that's awesome. I really liked him as Batman
he's my favorite batman i cannot tell you how many people say the only reason they don't like his films cause he ends up killing the joker at the end. i know batman doesn't kill but since it's a film who gives a fuck? i mean really batman in his history has killed before.
What an amazing story! 👌🙌
You are so Lucky to almost have gotten beat down by Batman!
There should’ve been more applause for Keaton coming back as Batman
@Kevin Smith Oh give me a break. He is the OG big screen Batman.
@Kevin Smith Adam West ain't the big screen
@@shuckslbj that is because the audience is full of sheep waiting for a cue.
I was thinking the same thing but what do they know they probably weren’t even thought about yet alone born for another 10 or so years. 🤔Lucky us...no, blessed us😊
eh, still too short
Keaton has hit the point of accepting his own badassery. He knows he's Batman, he does marvel movies, comedy movies, oscar nominated movies, and that people love him. That's a life goal.
Thank you bryan
No wonder he was such a great batman. You can have the jaw, the acting chops, the grit and the body or what have you... but when Keaton donned the suit, cape and mask. He just had an aura to him, like a presence that none of the others quite ever matched.
Kudos to Burton for bringing that angle out, too. Perfectly captured.
Thats what ive been sayin, same with Adam west. I guess it because these guys did once ij the past, really did bring a can of whoop....
100%
I've always said, "Keaton was the only Batman and Connery was the only 007"!
@@aprilmcnellis3851I agree. Have gotten it fights with people over the best Batman. I will die on the Keaton hill.
Idk. Affleck is closer to what I imagine batman being like.
He still is Batman... No question, without a doubt.
Also The Founder.
and Liz' dad 😅
The Vulture too
YES YES and YES
@Ollywood Garcia like any 90's kids know their ass from a hole in the ground .
Keaton= the worst batman ever .
There needs to be a live action adaptation of Batman Beyond with Michael Keaton portraying a retired Bruce Wayne!
...in the Tim Burton/Anton Furst universe!
Both him and Kevin Conroy are the only actors that I can see as Old Bruce Wayne.
That’s… pretty much what he’s talking about in the new flash movie
Yes please!
That would be awesome 😎
One of the most underrated actors of our time
I swear Michael Keaton is the ultimate bro/uncle we all wish we had.
Whoever's responsible for bringing back Keaton in The Flash did a good thing.
So true - Facts!
Thatd be money

It pretty much shows who were fans of the 1989 Batman and Keaton when he was asked to come back as Batman.
@@dylangatin7548 wow, thank money!

Bruce Wayne: "Let me tell you about this saw..."

@ He was paid to talk about that stupid saw.
Haha now it's called the Batzall, i mean it has to lol 😅
@@PopFictionVideos He must have, what a shame, come on! hahahaha...
He's such a humble dude. After so many years in the business, I can believe that he was exactly the same before the fame
Michael Keaton is the sole main reason why i'll be watching The Flash when it gets released on the big screen as this could be the last time that we see him as Batman again especially with everything that's going with DC movies at the moment, i can't wait to see him back in the suit and show everyone why he's still the best Batman ever.
You bet!
He remains the only reason to see that movie.
Michael Keaton is literally my childhood hero. He IS my Batman and no one can convince me otherwise 🦇
right and if the Warner Bros F's this up - there is nothing that can save them. He is the ONE and ONLY Sawzall...i mean...BATMAN!!!
Bale in Batman Begins is about as good as it gets. However, 10 year old me would fight 42 year old me about that. He'd be destroyed, but he'd do it.
He's my Batman as well
Buttheads
No your Batman is Ben Affleck Lol 🤣🤣🤣
He is in amazing shape and looking great for being 70. And still playing action roles.
70????!!!
yes, he was born in '51 according to wiki
If Liam Neeson can do it, why not MK? Best school is old school bad ass.
He’s 70?!
Surely he’s 50
You would never guess he's 70 years old from watching this video. The man is a legend!
Clean living.
He is very spritey
They way he was posing there, like he was holding a sawzall, totally reminded me of Mr. Mom. LOL! Micheal Keaton is still one of the greatest actors ever! Definitely the best Batman ever!!!

I liked Michael Keaton pre-Batman, thought he was a funny guy, kinda handsome……when I went to see Batman in 1989, WHOA. Full-on lust for the man. Never quite recovered, he did a PHENOMENAL job. Made it his.
He’s the dark knight that returns when he’s needed
He def tapped into it in a more real sense when doing the Birdman and then again a bit doing the Vulture which i think was because of the 2 roles.... it was all a genius move
He was fantastic in Spider-Man Homecoming, as a blue collar guy with a grievance. Deserved more screen time.
Meh nobody cares.
He's Batman.
Not some two-bit marvel villian.
@@dcmastermindfirst9418 What? How performance in Spider-Man was critically acclaimed. You know an actor can be known for more than one role, right?
@SimBol1216 Pfft he was cartoon character.
Not a villian.
Besides being one of the greatest funny or drama actors, he was simply THE PICK for any casting director. He can do it all.
Beetle juice..then batman.a living legend.micheal Keaton.
Nobody can outplay Michael as The Batman. I’ve wanted this for years!
Well you will need Burton for that
Michael Keaton is just the coolest guy in the world and he knows it.

He's 70 but looks about 50
He’s 70? Cool; I thought I was in trouble; but I’m just 64, that means I’ve still got six years to get in shape, get handsome, and get cool. I’ve already got a Sawzall; so, I’m half way there already, right?

He is the best Batman. Hands down. My favorite.
Have to agree with you on that one
he and bale
And he's Beetlejuice

Keaton is prime example that A comedian never retires
Just saw The Flash movie Keaton and Calle were great as Batman & Supergirl the acting and action scenes were great! 👍👍👍👏👏👏
The batman of our generation...bonus that he is so cool as a guy...well deserved
What no one remembers, and why Keaton is a great story teller: He started his career off as a comedian.
Yeah, almost all of his early roles were Comedic characters. The Dream Team, for example, is a great movie. Its hard to nail funny and heartwarming at the same time.
I am lucky to be 46 and remember him from comedy
Jesus loves you
Mr Mom, was the first time I saw him
Never seen him do stand up. His first movie role was Nightshift. My favorite one of his most outgoing characters that kicked off his career with everything he did played perfectly and landing him great gigs for his amazing ability to act, on screen and off.
He may have been out of the suit for nearly coming up to 30 years (by the time the movie comes out) but the dude is still the best of the onscreen Batman.

Always a pleasure to see Mr. Wayne in a TV show!
Michael Keaton played an awesome regular working salvage guy turning into a super villain, who also has a daughter connected to the protagonist fueling his wrath in Spider-Man: Homecoming... very empowering, very cunning, and very frighteningly threatening in that role... greatest example of a good guy becoming a villain!
We’re just as excited to check out the new movie as Jimmy is to get his hands on one of our M18 FUEL™ SAWZALL® Reciprocating Saws!
Hahaha I looked through the comments specifically to see your response! Also, Keaton is right. Sawzall is THE BEST tool because you can cut through anything.
@@CupOfJav I like my reciprocating saw too...especially for tree trunks. Been meaning to get a SAWZALL. Wonder if I should get a Dewalt? :-)
When Keaton is doing press for The Flash, I expect Milwaukee to sponsor a spot with him using a Sawzall on Fallon’s desk. Let’s make it happen!
A MOTHERBLEEPING SAWZALL
Good play, Milwaukee
MK has been a badass himself forever
He's really a great actor 💪🏽
He's right about the sawzall being the coolest tool ever. I only worked construction 1 year and fell in love with that thing
I’d love to see Keaton and Tim Burton complete the true Batman Trilogy

Haven’t seen Keaton being this funny since Multiplicity. Delightfully refreshing to see.

80s actor and it fits. He was phenomenally great on all characters. Love him he was cool
Micheal Keaton is just perfection!!!!!!
I saw the 1989 Batman in the cinema when I was 4. Batman Returns was my favourite movie for years. I still love it and can quote it years later. Also we need a sequel to Beetlejuice, with Catherine O'Hara and Winona Rider.
'Night Shift', then 'Mr. Mom', then 'Batman'? No way! But he nailed it big time in both movies! And what a great dramatic actor he's been ever since!
How I love Michael Keaton. One of the most phenomenal actors of all times.
Him as Batman is my favorite 😍 I’m gonna have to check out The Protege
They should make a cross-over with the movie "Multiplicity", and have Keaton play 4 roles in 1 superhero action movie.

Knock down this fargin' wall...
There have been many who tried to play Wayne/Batman. Some have been good like Adam West. Others have been really good like Bale. But none have come close to being as awesome as Keaton's portrayal. Like Ledger's performance as the Joker, Keaton as Wayne/Batman was sheer perfection.
Keaton is a dude I’d like to have a beer with and have him tell me story’s about the 80s and 90s…..actually it would be cool just to have a beer with him and he can talk about what ever the f**k he wants to.

I know i will. I just hope doesn't get wasted.
@jon pork He gets them better.
Firing Tim Burton from Batman, which lead to Keaton’s departure, was one of the biggest mistakes in Warner Bros. history.
why was he fired
@@the_varunrvel Batman Returns was seen as a little too dark and weird at the time. A vocal minority of parents complained which led to sponsors complaining. The decision was made to move in a lighter direction which is why Batman Forever is full of campy dialogue and color schemes. Burton was basically told in a subtle way he wouldn’t like the direction the franchise was headed.
I wasn't aware of that, I personally loved the dark theme, even as a kid.
Burton should have absolutely been allowed to finish a trilogy, and Keaton's Batman versus Johnny Depp's Scarcrow and Billy Dee Williams as Harvey/Two-Face, would have been really interesting!
@@lt7601 That was Burton's plan yeah
