I Think I've Already Found The Worst Movie of 2024... (Argylle Review)

Argylle is a movie that I didn't really expect much out of. Just a simple dumb fun spy comedy. Something that you just turn off your brain for, and have a good time watching it. What Argylle ends up being instead, is one of the most bloated, confusing, and incompetent movies I've ever seen in recent times, and an early contender for the worst movie of 2024.

I'm not joking when the car chase scene in the biggining happened I was laughing my ass off from the awful effects, my Dad was stupidiffied, my middle brother was embarrassed watching with a fake smile and my little brother and cousin left before the movie finished

This movie sounds like they threw childrens 00s book series Max Remy Superspy, and Shutter Island in a blender.
I agree with you that metahumour has killed comedy. Hopefully it can rise again. Barbie did have that spark and would have fit perfectly as a 90s comedy.
