Homelander: *Treats A-Train like absolute crap
*A train betrays him*
Homelander: WHAT DID I DO TO DESERVE THIS??😭
Homelander is so chaotic that its both scary and hilarious. He want people to listen to him then he got bored and hired Sage. Then he dont like being challenged by Sage. He abused A-Train but got hurt when A-Train betrayed him. Its so insane and i love it lol

It's kinda crazy that homelander is upset that A-train betrayed him even though he hoed A-train every chance he got.
He probably thought A-Train wouldn't have the guts to betray him and when he's proven wrong that seriously bruised his ego.
That is how Narcissists think. Those who have misfortune of dealing with pwNPD know
@@adam-bf8li It's not even that; It's that he couldn't concave of him betraying him. In his own screwed up way he does consider A-train and Deep "friends" and it hurt him.
Keep in mind, homelander has an incredibly screwed up perspective on relationships.
He views the seven as a family in a twisted way.
@@guitarhausdoesntknowwhatac3285 I am friends with Homelander and he told me this personally.

I’ve always been nice to A-train 😭🥺
😂😂😂😂
“Yummers”
“A-Train, how could he do this to me?”
Also Homelander: Quite literally harasses and abuses A-Train every other episode.
YUMMERS!
It’s actually crazy cause the moment Atrain could use his powers again he hasn’t. But he’s still a narcissist
its like homelander forgot what he made the deep do to A-Train lol
“You disgusting fan f# get off the effen stage” still gets me everytime 😂😂
Exactly, Homelander thought of him as a loyal dog, keyword being dog. a bad owner can kick them around and abuse them and still expect the dog to think the world of them because in a lot of sad cases they do, because that person is all the dog knows. But in this case, A-Train found other people and realized that other packs needed him. Remember Homelander thinks of a very select group of people as being on his level.
You know the irony and kind of poetic justice of this? In the first episode Atrain said that sage was the smartest person in the world but wasn’t smart enough to know when to keep her mouth shut but her keeping her mouth shut is what saved his life…
Bravo Vince
well shes just shutting up her mouth cus its her plan tho she was intentionally giving a train wrong information
what he meant by that is that she has an abit of being disrepectful for always giving her unfiltered opinion since cats usually hurt people's little feelings
Tho if it was all part of her plan to get starlight or hughie out of the picture to get close to the president due to them most likely having to go and warn the president then she played them like a fiddle and would have won too with a misinformation campaign and blindsided them proving them incompetent and making them enemy of the states taking them fully off the board but cus of homelander
He basically screwing up the plan
The biggest surprise is homelander was genuinely shocked from a-train betraying him despite bullying him the whole show lol
A narcissist will never understand how they make other people feel, because they've only ever cared about themselves
I guess that’s because he never thought A-Train was capable of something even close to this, I mean he was intimidated but still had the balls to resist
@@Lazarultos Narcissists don't think they have to do anything to earn loyalty. It's owed to them, just because of who they are.

Homelander never knew what he wanted, he says he's no longer interested in being loved by people but shows the opposite another day, he hires Sage because he's tired of being surrounded by people who always agree with him but at the same time he refuses to listen to Sage and has screwed up her plan to get more information to trap A-train and the boys.
Everytime sage speaks with someone, she gives them an option and makes them think they thought of it first. It's happened a few times in the season already, I love how they thought about writing the smartest person in the world.
The funny thing is she isn't really written as a genius. She is written to be smart, sure, but mostly she is written as manipulative and controlling.
@@Michael-bn1oiwell we're not here to see her recite mathematics.
@@stitch01thats not intelligence, shes a "smart" character written from the viewpoint of a dumb person. The largest reason alot of intelligent people develop impostet syndrome is due to undervaluing their skill sets because they think others are like them. Her plans had zero fail safe contingencies and never factored the actors that were in the plan and thejr ability to splinter off. Death note does smart better, attack on titan does smart better. Being manipulative and constantly failing isn't just ego, it's idiotic when you are dealing with a loaded gun(homelander)
@@paveesfox375There's equally as much 'dumb' smart people as 'smart' smart people. Look at Edison, or Nikola. They were extremely intelligent, yet prone to stupid mistakes constantly. They were both extremely arrogant and egotistical.
Furthermore, Death Note is not 'smart' smart it's 'dumb' smart. The characters there superhumanly intelligent. L has the combined intelligence of 3 full FBI labs combined. He stopped WW3 when he was 8. Light is more realistic, but even then he acts stupid. Like when he failed to control his emotions during the Lind. L. Tailor incident, or how he spared his girlfriend (I cannot remember her name right now for the life of me) despite her hindering his plans more than helping. Even after Rem died Light still kept her around, partially leading to his downfall.
Then there's his underestimation of N. His entire handling of the Third Kira situation is a disaster. He failed to take into account the stupidity of his own followers, leading directly to his death.
Even in death Light stupidly believed he could still win.
Sister Sage is more realistic than them. She didn't stop WW3 before hitting puberty. She isn't a super genuis. She is a genuis. Her ability to manipulate others, get inside their head, and her foresight are admirable qualities. Moreso than Light's blind arrogance and overconfidence.
I haven't watched AOT, but from what I heard Eren isn't exactly the brightest bulb in the shed. In fact no one there is especially intelligent, or clever. The series is driven by plot contrivance after plot contrivance. But that's only what I heard so I could be wrong.
My point is that there are numerous forms of intellect. It also equally as many forms of stupidity. Humans are not machines. We are all unique to some extent and individualistic.
Just because Sage doesn't fit your definition of 'smart' doesn't maker her stupid. It does, however, give away your core values and what you define as intelligent. I'm not judging, just stating a fact.
@@paveesfox375 I dont know, the fact she left her notebook makes me thinks she had contingencies, fail safe Im not sure. Sage is proof that ego can make everyone dumb
I mean, I'd argue that she isn't the dumb person. Emotionally/socially dumb, maybe, but she definitely saw the bigger picture and anticipated what would happen as per her plan. The problem though, was Homelander. Him with all his narcissism and ego, he couldn't just leave it all to Sage and wanted to take action as quick as possible. His actions are driven by emotion, not reason, unlike Sage. Sage was obviously the more intelligent person, but against Homelander she just couldn't do anything.
Sage is proof that a character is only as smart as it's writer(s)...
Not Ego
Temporary Lobotomy: It is shown that Sage occasionally lobotomizes herself for recreational purposes, which seems to bring her to average or below average intelligence until her healing factor repairs her brain. This condition can also be caused by brain damage; and if severe enough, it may even cause Sage to speak out sentences that are near gibberish and ad lib. If one of the projects she is managing goes catastrophically wrong while she is lobotomized, she will be unable to correct it. This could be extremely disastrous if those taking orders are unaware of her condition, which she might not think to inform them of. This can be seen when Mothers Milk had shot her in the head during Tek Knight’s party, where Homelander had tried to get her help in manipulating and convincing the affluent guests to support their cause, Sage was unable to do so and left him hanging in the air to improvise, with Victoria ending up saving him in the end.
Human Durability: Unlike her teammates in the Seven, Sage is only as durable as a normal human, leaving her vulnerable to conventional means of assassination, except for her head, which she regenerates.
Psychological
Mental Exhaustion: Since she lobotomizes herself to relax, it can be assumed she often finds her superhuman intelligence overwhelming.
I think its more as Morty says, "When you're an asshole it doesn't matter how right you are. Nobody wants to give you the satisfaction". Sage might be right, but she was condescending to Homelander when he was vulnerable and hurt. It would have cost her nothing to apologize and give him an non-condescending explanation. or you know, tell him what her plan was so she didnt look like she was just trying to save her own skin.

You only get ahead testing fate or you always be in the spot crying "why you never took a chance"
@@jackcarver5412there’s point that mindset isn’t always going to work in your favor and can lead to a very very bad ending.
The Deep, Lord of the Brocean
2:21 Lol a potentially good meme material😂
That didn't even feel like Homelander lmao it felt like an everyday old man when there's titties up close to his face haha
Man, Homie didn't even want to hit Firecracker's big milkies after that betrayal.
ironically getting fired is probably a part of Sage's plan too
the previous episode, she tells Neuman she wants to punish ignorant people, so maybe she is trying to mess Homelander up too
Homelander started screwing up the plan once he put Sage in The Seven. Invisible power is a much more effective. Intelligence is a tool he can't fully utilize because it requires him to put aside his ego. Everything's a nail to hammer...
*tortures and humiliates The 7 and literally kills anybody he feels like at any given time*
"A-Train?!?! How could he do this to me?! 🥺"
The one person Homelander will never defeat is Ryan
In sister sage's defense, she was suffering from drain bamage.
I actually love when Homelander has a meltdown and we can see him close to tears. So real and also same lmao
Firecracker is so shocked Sage can talk to Homelander like that
Homelander is upset not because A-Train betrayed him but because The Seven is collapsing under his control and A-Train was the most useful member of The Seven.
Homelander x Sage is end game calling it now. Their chemistry has been steadily building for no reason
Deep and Noir are building the bro lore by getting the s**t beaten out of them and recovering together.
Bro code.
bro ya'll woke up at 6AM just to post the episode all over the internet sheesh
Being fired by Homelander like that should be a blessing, not everybody is that lucky
Him being hurt and unable to understand why he was betrayed is perfect character consistency.
This is very similar to Soldier Boy who couldn't understand why Crimson Countess would betray him even when he repeatedly cheated on her & terrorized and beat the shit out of their entire team. Liking the parallels in storytelling here...
Like Father, like Son.
Homelander took shots at A Train when he was at the lowest point of his life. And this was all such a shock to him lmao, like "(gasp) my supe heart! i could he do this to me! we were like brothers!"
Right on!
🤷🏽♂️😮😅🎉❤
0:29 - 0:33 when Firecracker mentions A-Train and his family have disappeared . It's a small but significant detail that shows you just how far A-Train's come and how he's no longer under the Seven , or Homelander's influence . He not only went against Homelander but went into hiding with his family to save them - a farcry from the man who killed his own girlfriend out of cowardice to stay in The Seven.
I think it’s hilarious how Homelander got upset that A-Train was the leak, yet he’s called him fat many times and degraded him😂
