  • Quinault Rain Forest Nature Trail is a short interpretive trail that provides an excellent opportunity to view the temperate rainforest.
Overlooking Willaby Gorge, the trail follows Willaby Creek, a typical rainforest stream and ancient large trees.
The trail is compacted gravel and the first 850 feet is accessible to individuals in wheelchairs.

    Very well made vid- Cheers!
It brought me back to ky own hikes in that rainforest... I recall learning that the Quinault rainforest has the most biomass per area of any spot on earth- far more than any tropical rainforest or coral reef, and even more rhan the redwoods or kelp forests. (I joined a study of the area- as a non-professiona-l once in the 90s, and they learned that, off trail, the ground underneath was often just 10-20 feet of brush, decomposing (nurse log) trees, fungi (the mycelium network) etc, and is utterly impassable.
There were geat local/natural foods, and the best groundwater I've ever tasted! (...though, imho, the food is better on the coastal parts of the park and on the Reservations: salmon, crab, bottomfish, perch, the 'seaweed' etc)

Amazing video quality and the chosen soundtrack really suits the audio too. If you're comfortable adding little voice notes in between it would make the video better. Don't stop making videos, this looks really nice.

This is probably my favorite place in the world, though I prefer the coastal parts (as a semi-competent surfer and a fan of the natural seafoods)...
The rainforest trails around the lake are even more amazing than the mountain hikes in the park- even in the summertime! (As long as one has some good rain gear/tents etc! 😮!
