I know. I have a library of games I will never touch because the few games I do play are all online based. Online play should be free, but at the least, very least, charge me $5 bucks so I can play with my friends.
Ok jokes on you most of the onlines games I play are f2p games (all the f2p ganes are set up so there don't need ps plus to play online so fortnite, OW2, Warframe and more
They arent even trying anymore, and had the nerve to raise the price, smh
At this point I only keep paying for this because I don't want to lose some good previous games that I haven't played yet

Same my subscription is over in March and now that I work 2 jobs I hardly get time to play online. Plus COD/Fort has died for me and now feels like a job with all those battle passes and stuff. So the only thing would be the free games which we all know are always crap so. This is also the first year they didn’t offer a discount for existing users 🤷♂️

I honestly don’t know what people expect from this service. Last month we had A Plague Tale and Nobody Saves the World which are both pretty good, and this month you’re getting Rollerdrome, which is one of the most enjoyable games I’ve played in years!
@deanlowdon8381 It might be enjoyable if you're a child, but then again, so is jangling keys to a kid. There hasn't been one game with any sort of long-lasting replayability since the price increase. It's fitting that the "stand out" game for the month that the price changes were announced was such a failure that it ended its studio of 20+ years.

I never planned on buying it. Seeing how it’s on PS+ it seems like my situation was the same as 99% of gamers.
Pretty much the same with me. PS+ launch isn't unique to this game though. Fall Guys also launched with a PS+ release before it was free to play.
The way I see it, they'll get their player base through PS+, get their good publicity, then add on a battle pass that everyone pays for during season 2. Once the player base really declines, they'll make it free to play.

You’re not far off with that comparison, although the trick aspect is certainly similar to Tony Hawks.
Rollerdrome sounds more like Aggressive Inline with guns, I would say. Unless there is more to the Tony Hawk comparison than just the extreme sports angle?
Honestly the more I watch it, the more I actually think Jet Set Radio is the best comparison.

Ive been wanting to play steel rising and foamstars so im pretty excited for this lineup!
In Canada it is $105 a year for ps plus basic. definitely not worth the cost when each month it's games that most people won't touch, maybe load once and play for 10 minutes if that
I still have no idea why I spent my £100 psn card on ps plus extra when I could have bought 2 decent games to keep rather than 20 shit games nobody would touch otherwise. 🤦♂️

@@RedceLL1978 Definetly worth it, not too long but new enemies and levels are thrown out constantly and the difficulty curve is amazing, I played it on Xbox and its fantastic

@@RedceLL1978I can safely say that it didn’t wear off quickly for me. I played it for about 12 hours to see it through to the end and complete the multiple objectives on each level.

I played it for about 10 hours to complete it, and had great fun the whole time.
Just finished Shadow Of The Colossus and was gonna try to play Ico with Premium, and then The Last Guardian. SOTC and TLG both have HDR and look amazing

Splatoon with a dash of Overwatch or Rouge Company. Splatoon lets you create your own character especially Splatoon 3. Foam Stars seems to take the Overwatch or Rogue Company approach by letting you choose a character that suits your playstyle.

Seeing how there isn't really any big Splatoon type games on the market and it could potentially see a PC release in the future, I can see it having a dedicated community. It'll probaby be around for awhile, atleast until Fortnite adds their own "Splatoon" mode where you have to paint the map to score points.
In Europe, ps plus essential is 72 euros. To play ontline on your playstation for a year. If we keep quiet they'll just keep giving us these types of games that, all though they may not be bad, they're also hardly what most people are looking forward to playing and "most people" is key because most people are the amount of people that are getting essential to play online
no matter how you see it bro the games giving in a year for 72 is more than equivalent to that amount ...they might be not your type of games every month but at the end of the year you will have 36 games for 72 euro ....i dont see that as a bad thing to be honest
and this is not a good month for me except for maybe steelrising but i only sub monthly whenever theres games i want to redeem or if i wanna play online
I feel you , they raised the price of the Ps plus and their justification was "we wanna provide gamers biggest/better games monthly" . I feel like those past month we had really shitty game , even in the ps plus Extra they give us a majority of AA 2D games and stuff like that .
72 euros is only 78.11 usd usd is paying $79.99 which is 73.73 euros either case it divide up to 5 $15 games a year and your getting 36-39 games a year some price higher then 15 i'm not seeing the hardship
Surley games like these are better? Take a popular game like COD for example. Everyone knows about it, so if you want to play COD, you'll already have it, if you don't already have it, that's probably because you don't want it. So I don't see how big games that everyone knows are a good idea, it's much better in my opinion to have games that flew under the radar, or smaller games made with a medium budget.
But it is terrible that we only get 3 games a month when we used to get 6 to 7.

If you love the smooth gameplay of Fromsoftware, you're gonna hate the janky shit that is Steel Rising. Give it a try and see what you think. I found it to be clunky and a terrible take on the soulslike formula.
Lmao everything from FromSoft is janky and clunky as FUCK. Even if yes, Steelrising is veeery outdated and janky. Much more like a PS3 game than Elden Ring. But they're both bad in these and other senses. However some might find the combat fun. Steelrising has some cool weapons tbh. Adjusting the difficulty made it easier to not instantly rage quit (for me personally, as I cannot handle learning by dying over and over).
This one is actually the first month in a long time that I am actually looking forward to the games. Both Rollerdome and Steel Rising will get downloaded by me

Oh so there is no campaign mode? Destruction all stars had a very good campaign mode and other pve challenge besides PvP. I don't understand why they had issues with the match making after while.

I Decided to gave up on ps plus this november and feeling so good about it. I personally was shuffeling between games a lot knowing thry are free. Not completing before moving to next. Slowly the fun started fading.
Now I am back to buying games and I am naturally completing exploring everything in the brought game. Playing multiple times and it feels so good. Fun is back again.

Everytime I’m happy with the games everyone is always complaining about how terrible it is. The games are meant to be for everyone and as they’re monthly games it’s nice to have some games which are quick and fun to play. For the big triple A games if it comes out on PS plus and I wanted to play it then it’s too late because I already bought it

I am glad for Steelrising being on the essential tier ( if it was day one on the premium tier it would be justified as well) . Rollerdrome already was on the Xbox game pass subscription but because of the haptic i would prefer to play it on the ps5. I hope for the Foamstars to provide a good experience the first days so the game recieves a good reception.
