And I was just thinking in buying an espresso machine,,,,,, after the breakdown of the spout, wand,,whatever it is, maybe not a krups. Thanks for the video!!!!!.
Krups redesigned the frother and is now manufacturing it using a more durable plastic. This new frother is available on all new machines. But it is also available FREE to those of us who already own one of the older machines.Call the Krups customer service line, 800-526-5377, and request the replacement frother. The person I spoke with didn't even request proof of purchase. In about ten days the new part arrived.
You should not let the spout in so deep. There is too much pressure and it pops out the extension. Thanks though I did not know what that setting did (preheat) ;)
I'm like ..WTH!!!..OMG..where'd he go and not stout it off. Now you done it.. heg honey come here..I got something for you. I don't believe that it was the milk/creamer to fare..and pressure popping it. I think it was just Murphy there. I have a 4000..used from thirty shop...I'm going to be a guinea pig and try it myself. I don't normally steam. (But we do need the rest of the story on this. ..maybe I have it now ?)
We had the same problem, we thing it problem is because of lime scale. and we solve it bu. 1. We pure the vinegar (9%) in to the water tank 2. Then turn it on to make a coffee, without coffee 3. Vinegar dissolved lime scum 4. Then we pure the water in to the water tank and turn it on to make a coffee, without coffee to clean the system 5. For the best result, we open percolator and clean it in vinegar. Now our KRUPS XP 4000 working like new.
