Nice alternative ending, but I don't think Athena would have dealt with Kratos or Atreus that way, she's very smart and calculative so a bit weird for her trying to manipulate how Ares or Hera would do hahaha not Her. And barlog did say she received much more powers that made her corrupted, so I don't think she's a powerless god.😅 Anyway still well done, Nobody knows what really happened to Athena, only barlog knows, that guy is only teasing us. Will be quite disappointed if he abandoned whatever the hell higher existence is.

That was actually really good and not only tied in previous game elements but explained newer details, sent off Kratos respectfully and set up Atreus for future stories. Well done sir.
Great ending what you have written. To pass the axe to Loki was brilliant idea. Kratos should have died in heroic death as you say in the story, but I am kind of glad he did not die in Ragnarok and he was passed a path to make North realm great again.
I like this ending as an alternative. It feels like if they wanted ragnarok to be the series finale then this would have been a really good way of handing it. Plus Thor survives and i like that

Seeing this video i think it makes sense for leviathan to be meant to pass it on to atreus when he becomes an adult, if thrud got mjolnir then i don't see why atreus can't inherit his mother's axe
I do hoped that we get a God of war 6 teaser reveal soon at Playstation showcase because for the leaks I've seen it is not there for whatever reason so it is time we see if the next game will take us to the Egyptian saga given how it is connected to the Greek mythology whatsoever.

In God of war Ragnarok should have more Valkyries in asgard protecting Odin instead of just 3 of them it's not possible that there wasn't a group of Valkyries that would follow Odin's/ the Queen Gná orders and the other part of Freya/Frigg And ex queen Sigrun Very strange,it was supposed to have a maximum of 10 or 20 more Valkyries in Asgard And yet 2 Creatures that are not in this game the mysterious wolf Horodviltnir and the Kraken + the return of the dragons that we saved in the first game and they have connections with the dragon slayers Beowulf,Sigurd/Siegfried And Others Midgardians Humans and Others Childrens of Odin Gods and Pets/their creatures Very sad that it happened this way l Wanted to see a lot more news Valkyries with new names Mainly Kingdoms that have not been used or appeared like the Valkyries realm and also Asgard and Valhalla To be explored and what I wanted most after finishing the game and going there to look and explore everything in each kingdom I think it deserves one more game on Norse Mythology Or else a story DLC to answer a lot of questions and things that were left out and didn't show up I hope it happens in the future 🤔🥺😭 🙏 like and Bye!
I like kratos regardless if he shows more emotion in ragnarok, kratos might be the ghost of Sparta/ God of war but as he grows older he can't remain angry forever it's good for him to become a better God only needing his rage when it's necessary.
I think in game Skadi commit suicide because of her Father Death and Kratos already Killed Heimdall in the game, most of the other Norse Gods Don't exist in the game well except Froseti but he's only mentioned a few times

I thought of my own ending. It's the final fight against Thor. Odin shows up and quickly joins thor in the fight. Kratos is struggling very hard. He gets pinned down by both Thor and odin.(button mashing sequence) Eventually kratos manages to push thor away only to get stabbed by odin deep in the chest and pumped with bifrost. His vision is getting darker and odin taunts him. He sees Thor grabbing atreus by the neck and truid tries to stop him but it's useless. The ptsd kicks in. Kratos pinned down stabbed in the chest. Just like zeus did it to him with the blade of Olympus. The rage takes over kratos. He throws odin far away with gungnir in his hand and he breaks it. The fight turns into a quick time button mashing sequence like in the old gow games. He is still getting beaten by odin. Seeing Atreus struggle he quickly goes to thor evading his attacks and finally picking up mjolnir. He throws it so hard at thor that he can't get up. Making him get stuck on the ground. eventually he overwhelms odin and starts beating him up with his bare hand just like zeus. The amount of blood that comes out of odin is ungodly. Kratos still keeps hitting him even though there is a 6 foot hole in his head. He eventually stops and wipes the blood from his face. He starts walking to atreus. Trying to comfort him. Atreus is hesitant of getting close to kratos at first but eventually lets him get close. Kratos says "now you know...who i am." Atreus says "that's who you were, not who you'll be." Kratos smiles and they eventually turn their attention to the subdued thor who is infuriated because of his father's death. Kratos atreus and truid finally let thor see things clearly. Thor forgives atreus and kratos for what they did. AND IN A TWIST BROK COMES BACK TO LIFE AND HOLDS OFF RAGNAROK SO EVERYONE CAN ESCAPE. EVENTUALLY TELEPORTING TO SAFTY AS WELL AND EVERYONE LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER.
Good take 👏 👌 but idk about the kratos being dragged away part lol... and atreus beating oding by himself. He has mad potential but I think he's too young still in this moment of time. Could have bought enough time for kratos to heal up and get back in there with him on his side would have been a bit more accurate lol. But hey this is all just God of war fan theories and you definitely made a great one!

A long time ago Cory said Athena is just floating out there. The mortals have hope at the end of God of War 3. They wont bow down to Gods. So what is she suppose to do. She cant rule the mortals. And according to cory barlog she's alive all this time meaning time cant kill her. She's acting like that because there is nothing for her to do anymore. Just like Kratos had nothing else to do after God of War 3 before he met faye. Athena's obsession to be all-powerful and God of War 3 made her be stagnant now. In God of War Ragnarok Kratos struggled against thor. Same in this story. Athena is not powerful. She has no power. And yes this is fan fiction. Im a fan lol ❤️❤️

I was always disappointed that Kratos could not summon the Blade of Olympus or use Mjölnir.
