I used to play Philly against Buffalo was this game. The key to sacks for me was moving your guy around the line, pre-snap. Eagles had the best defense of all the non-historical teams, at least on paper. The SNES Maddens didn’t compare to their Genesis counterparts. My favorite of this era is Madden ‘92 (Genesis)of this era, which also had the best Eagles team in my estimation, although Madden ‘94 Eagles comes close.
Trading Marino to any team but the Dolphins felt like the ultimate cheat code. Makes you wonder how different the story would have been if he had done the same back then too
This is probably the best football game ever made, including the 6th gen console Maddens. The game actually allowed full control and none of the rng, stupid animation nonsense. Football games later on took this element away.

I’m Eagles fan but I ran with Dolphins in this game Dan Marino arm was beautiful

I remember walter payton being unstoppable in this game, all you had to do is hurdle when anyone got close to tackling you
