Capers are a plant that you see pretty often in Mediterranean cooking. The book Dipper was reading at the beginning was a mystery about stolen capers, with the joke being that "caper" has another meaning, being a synonym for "crime".
Everybody switching bodies was wild, especially Soos in Waddles' body. It does feel like Freaky Friday

This episode is a personal milestone: I usually don't care for "freaky Friday" plots, but this one is both a lot of fun, a very interesting character study and even has some hidden lore. Really good one.
