The final entry of the FF7 remake better be called: Final Fantasy 7 Remade.
Actually the original Double Dragon game on the NES was indeed a single player game, however the Sega Master system version allowed for 2 players and there was a huge debate over this. Nintendo later released Double Dragon 2 and offered a 2 player option.

Unfortunately ‘Redbelt’ is probably a reference to little known martial arts grading rankings outside of general knowledge of ‘Black belt’ awards, as although in some systems like karate, hapkido or Taekwondo red belt comes before black, in BJJ and judo a red or coral belt is awarded above black to a full ‘master’, which in other systems you get to a certain Dan grade in black where you earn the title master, which is often 6th Dan, or 6th step, when getting your black belt it’s considered the first step beyond the basics.
And more people probably are aware of this than they are of the game ‘Redbelt’ 😂
Had Square released Rebirth on PC too, easily doubles their numbers. Or not made it console exclusive.....

Also the first game is a 40 hour game. The second one is 100 hours. And it's required that you play the first one. Not everyone has gotten there yet, especially with the huge games that came out in the last year. Our back logs are huge. When will we find time to play this?

The solution is obvious. If there are 155 million PS2s, then Square Enix just needs to release FF7 Rebirth on PS2.

Matt Jones here, just piping in to say that Vindicators 100% came out on the NES because my uncle got it for me for Christmas and it is absolutely terrible.

Rebirth is getting the "middle child" treatment..
Remake did not sell even close to 10's of millions. It has sold probably JUST about 8 or so million. Which is lifetime.

The problem with dividing the story into 3 games, is that each game needs to standaline in stoty and gameplay. FF7 Rebirth started with the Neibelheim incident, stayed mysterious throughout the game, but never bother to resolve what it started by revealing the truth on Cloud's memory.
Wouldn’t you rather have 3 fun games as opposed to just one though?

@@bixhutch6274 would love it on Xbox, but they have an exclusivity deal going. It is coming to PC, they staggered release just like they did with last one. Had it come out at same time, bigger numbers

Most people who play games probably don’t care about framerate or even understand what 30 fps vs 60 fps means.

What is the scam? They extrapolated and fleshed out the characters - it's what most fans wanted. Your idea of a 7 remake is just unrealistic.
You need to look into what a scam is
*Content abandonment loses*. Sounds like the loss they suffered. DUe to the people who bought 1 abandoned and didnt buy rebirth. People abandoned the content. Because its the middle of the game and will not get a conclusion to the game for a few years.

FF7 Rebirth is currently the Top 4 selling game of the year --- WTF are you talking about -- How are you so bad at actual Journalism - Why not compare to Alan Wake 2, Tekken 8, Street Fighter 6, Dragons Dogma 2, Like A Dragon, Persona 3, Super Mario Bros Wonder, Suicide Squad, Skull and Bones -- FF7 Rebirth Outsold all of these Multiplat games --- Do you do any research or utilize any common sense? ---- Sony also helped fund the game so Square is surviving thanks to Sony Exclusives - The Loss they took was from their NFT Games initiative that they've cancelled
Square Enix is quite literally failing because of the Sony exclusivity. There stocks have tanked and the games are underperforming. FF7 is also one of the most well known and popular games in the history of gaming. Comparing it to Dragons Dogma? Really? Square Enix themselves is admitting is not working hence why they're on stage with Xbox and leaks coming out that they're not doing the exclusives anymore.
@@bixhutch6274Bruh, Square Enix literally had their stock rise up. Literally most of their released games are not underperforming especially in 2023. And you can compare FF7 Rebirth and Dragon's Dogma 2 when both games are an open world and an rpg. And Square Enix never once admitted to work with Xbox after all the game they released on All platform, Xbox platform is literally their lowest sale. And there are no leaks, you're just lying

Remake didn't even sell that well though considering the hype. The series needs to be on both console platforms and more importantly PC.
According to Circana Remake has the second highest dollar sales in the series only behind XV, which was multiplat day one and Remake never hit Xbox.
Yeah, no the exclusivity deal more than makes up for the fraction of sales Xbox would have garnered, and Switch would just be a headache. Maybe Switch 2 has a real possibility - it should. PC is already there and in the works for Rebirth. But pc user just complain about the price. Game was absolutely worth $70.

@@jonteguy of course it has the fact is square enix told you 16 sales in it's first week was 3 million they have not mentioned rebirth sales at all.. some unconfirmed reports are that rebirth sold only 2 million in its' first week.. in japan 16 clearly outsoid rebirth in it's first week by a considerable amount..
