- This train journey we are traveling from north korea-china border city dandong to beijing via shenyang.
first we took high speed train FROM Dandong City to shenyang . this is one hour journy and then we took overnight train from shenyang to beijing.
night train is cheaper then day train but speed also slow .
so now we are almost in beijing china capitel city.

In 1959, Beijing Railway Station was built. So，the reason why they took photos for the Beijing Station, not the reason you said , just because only this old and historical one can be kept until now while the other OLDER railway stations in the other old cities (Shanghai Guangzhou Chengdu etc), were destroyed by the different wars. Even small cities on Borders are also very modern and advanced ，they are NO longer interested in these modern things any more. Old buildings and communities are easier to discover and preserve in these old cities.
