Just unbelievable, what a "Master Craftsman". Absolutely, the best build have witnessed in my life, out of pallets no less. What a beautiful gift you have.
Wow, now that’s a four poster. It looks like it belongs in a museum. Wouldn’t it be amazing for him to do the entire bedroom. He has the wardrobe already. I think if he did the entire room there would be interior design magazines lined up to photograph the room all made of pallets. It would do wonders for his CZcams channel, get him the millions of followers he certainly deserves. Xxxxx
Epic UpCycling wow, I’m sure we would all love to see the room, and it doesn’t matter that you didn’t film it all, if you put the room together I’m sure your followers (including myself here in the UK) would be happy to contact magazines to tell them of your absolutely stunning work with pallets, they would check out your channel then I’m sure they would be in touch. xxxxx.
I bet his house is just an amazing place to walk through. I love the consistency throughout all of his projects, from the most recent Nordic wine cabinet to this stately four poster. I'd love to see a house tour!
Brings forth memories of my late father in his workshop where our Siamese cat, Sam, used to supervise the work no matter how noisy and dusty. I hope you have a mascot to hang out with you in your workshop. Dad loved to work with oak. He would have loved watching your videos. Gorgeous bed! I want one! 🪵
Ask the local grocery/furniture, mine only keeps and reuses the standard sized ones and toss the rest, bunch of them just go in the trash so talk to the supply guy and he gave me green light to take all the non-standard ones
WOW!!! I dont think you'll ever understand just how impressed I am with this build!!!!!! This has seriously amazed and inspired me so much! Thanks for sharing with us all! Looking forward to watching the Narnia inspired wardrobe now.
Every video of yours blows me away more than the last. I love how it's not instructional, I can just enjoy sitting down and watching a true master at work. I don't watch in order to learn anything specific, I watch to be inspired. It makes me laugh when I see videos or read comments from supposedly knowledgeable woodworkers telling everyone not to waste their time on "garbage" pallet wood, then show yet another tutorial on how to make a cutting board or small box out of expensive exotic wood, that pale in comparison to the creativity and craftsmanship you show while working with pallets.
Just to give you an idea how amazing and absolutely transcendent your woodworking videos are, my 5-year-old son Constantine, on his own, just happened to find this video and clicked on it by himself, and watched it in its entirety and was enthralled! You are truly amazing, and if this has inspired my son to become a craftsman, I'll be forever in your debt. One request: can you please do a tutorial on how you made that wonderful router table?

Normally when someone has epic in their channel name, I am skeptical. This time was no different. You sir, embody the term epic. I am actually blown away. If your channel doesn't deserve to blow tf up, I don't know whose does. Thank you!
I love this channel. He works with hand tools and with power tools I love to watch the relaxing woodworking and it’s helped me to get back into the shop!
To see all this come together I just feel I am in another level of existence. How on Gods earth can one man create such wonders? I am a cabinet maker by trade mostly joiner by employment, retired now but still doing my own thing in my workshop. All of what I have seen has spurned me on to create gifts for my family so they can remember me. I have said it before, you will be remembered 200 years from now as an artistic woodworker, a friend to the Planet in recycling and a wizard to your craft. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing you videos.
I'll give you a big tip.. If you're using pallett wood before you plane or use any machinery run a magnet over the nail holes. I run them all over the wood. It's saved me a fortune in blades and time . Nothing worse if a planer hits a nail without it's head that you missed Great vid thanks
Howdy Jason!! Of all the incredible pieces I've watched you create, I this this has to be my favorite! It's as fine as any Chippendale, Sheridan, Hepple-white, etc. You can stand proud as your skills can match the old master carpenters!!!
You made the most beautiful bed. A person would find it impossible to find something just as quality as what you''ve made here, and it's gorgeous to boot. Now all you need is a chest of drawers, a dresser ,and perhaps some side tables. I love how your pieces lock perfectly into place.
This is more than AAAAMAAAZING! CON-GRA-TU-LA TIONS! I do have a canopee bed! Somebody dropped it on the street some years ago, because the bars that attach the headboard to the feet of the bed were broken. I ordered to replicate those wooden pieces and varnished them in a very similar colour. I also attached some bars to hang curtains and it's just fantastic to sleep there! Curtains provide privacy, shadow and warm feeling, it's like a nest! And a mosquito-net is very handy in the place where I live I encourage you to find a way to add curtains to your awesome canopee bed!
Id love to see more fantasy magic symbolism in your furniture. Looks so mysteriously. Also those materials which used someone, to burn it down, adding additional sense to things, transforming to something new, you know. Executing strong like...
WOW 🤩 I am lost for words ....this is a great project and excellent workmanship I’m so impressed well done absolutely beautiful it must of taken a long time to create this beautiful project.
When I see a pallet at work im gonna think *damn im gonna make me a bed*. Then reality will set in that I have no fckn idea how to even use a tool and i'll just think of you instead :)
Seriously. I'd be lucky to come up a "bookshelf" made by nailing some of the pallet slats between two of the other slats. *Extremely* lucky for it to actually finish up square and with the "shelves" horizontal.
Remarkable my brother...I just put 2 n 2 together, ur building a master bedroom set...this goes with d armoire on ur other build..awesome design brother looking good...u deserve d rest..lol
From one wood worker to another. I absolutely love what you're doing here. I used to build things just like this, before I became disabled. I want so badly to get back into wood working. I just don't know how to replace all the machinery I lost when I had to quit working.
I am building my own woodshop and there are many vids by CZcamsrs about how to turn say your handheld router into a table router and many other main woodworking equipment. Saving a bucket load of money.
Years ago during a huge DIY fair I wanted to buy what we call a 'wood machine' = saw/router/planer, but the salesman would only explain it to my 'husband', who incidentally couldn't bang a nail into a piece or wood. I gave up on that !! A few years later I was looking for a small hand held sander that I could use when hanging from a beam to sand some ceilings joists ,, again ' could I come back with my husband' !! THEN some clever person began making PINK DIY tools !! really ??? When installing a dressing room one day my then boyfriend got up from his TV, set aside the precious remote and said that as a man he should be doing that. He ruined a plank, put a huge hole in the plasterboard and cut himself in about five minutes !! I love the peaceful focus of your work !! thank you from a female DIY !
This is hands down the most intricate, impressive and design heavy channel that uses recycled wood, I don't understand why these videos haven't taken off, the only thing I can think of is that there are no descriptions of the process? Maybe some simple voiceovers or subtitles would help, is that something you would consider? Feel like I would learn alot from more detailed descriptions
I don’t think they need a voice over, to be honest. Jimmy Diresta doesn’t have them (well, technically he does for his Patrons) and you can see all that he does and figure it out if necessary. I think the work being done speaks for itself. The absolute genius use of pallet wood, the processing of it and execution of the design is stunning. I think a voice over would detract from the beauty of the process.
@@darrenwright9619 I've only watched a few of Jimmy direstas videos, mostly the instructional ones about circular saws/screws, and a few of the longer form builds like the cabinet, I could be wrong but it seems like the reason his videos can get away with no voiceover and still be so easy to understand is because he basically 'idiot-proofs' them by painstakingly shooting every step, every repetition, there's no 'oh I'll show this once and then show you a pile of them on the table finished up'. Getting to see the same step as many times as he needs to do them gives me a much clearer picture of the build, especially any little things he might be doing to adjust or make things easier, and the sequence and logic of how he went through the build, if he had to readjust a method I get to see that, if he went through three different sanding tools I get to see that, and seeing it explains the why, which is even more important than the how. But that's just my opinion, i also think t's perfectly fine to have a maker channel that's more about presenting your work within your filming means and not about trying to teach people how to use the same method by going all out instructional
That snap fit at 9:05 is sweet!!! What an amazing piece of planning, execution and overall production value on the video and the bed itself. I can't wait to see what you do next!
Thanks Pete. Got a few short vidos on the go at the moment. Next big project is a bookcase to match the steampunk chest. Video ready in about 4 weeks :)

Thanks for the comment, Louretha. There isn't a lot of planning goes into my designs. I do a sketch with some sizes, then usually make it up as I go along, letting the design unfold as I build :)
This bed is stunningly gorgeous. It is reminiscent of the beautiful Mediterranean craftmanship of days gone by. Your precision and talent are unmatched today.
Thanks Sandy. The staining process I used for the bed and the wardrobe was a coat of dark oak Liberon spirit dye, heavily sanded down then two coats of dark oak wax to finish.

First, great video. Secondly what beautiful work you do. I have always wanted to make my daughter a bed frame and this is exactly what I needed for me to get off my ass and finally do it. Im not making it so fancy only because....I can't..LOL. No actually she like furniture that is not as ornate but Im going to incorporate alot of what you did for the design...

Thank you Harish. Great to be able to entertain people in this difficult time. More videos coming soon :)
This is craftsmanship at its finest beautiful bed.
Absolutely stunning! 🤯I love it so much💚 You make it look so easy....
Thanks :)
Looks straight out of the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Fantastic work, good sir.
Thanks :)
You my friend are a master. Congratulations for your skills and the great outcome with this project. Greetings from Playa del Carmen, Mexico 😎🌴☀️🇲🇽
Greetings from the UK Sergio, thanks for the comment. :)
He is a genius. Wish I could hire him to make me a bed. You won't find that quality of workmanship at the stores today, let alone what you want.
Thanks Helen :)
i like how the bed and wardrobe/drawers you made in previous videos match so they would go really well together in a room., what other furnishings did you make in this style and design for the room?
some end tables would be cool
Working on a matching bookcase at the moment :)
@@EpicUpCycling oh cant wait to see it
Три вещи, глядя на которые успокаивают. Как течёт вода, как горит огонь и смотреть как работают другие)) спасибо вам за вашу работу 🙏 ❤
Thanks for the comment, Raymond. I'm glad you liked the bed. Good luck with the build for your daughter. It's great to hear you can draw some ideas from my build. Jason :)
Read you are "self taught", well done ❤ Thank you for sharing 🍀
