I live in NJ and have zoysia grass. It’s the 1st to turn brown in the hot summer and fall and last to turn green in the spring every year. The stolons and rhizomes find their way into all sidewalk cracks and creep into all landscaped areas too easily. It’s a lot of work keeping it from places you don’t want it.
