I commented on your post on IG. Mine arrived the same way except for the knee piece. I was super excited for a Dr. DOOM figure. The broken pieces, the lack of wired cape, and lack of fists make me wanna scream. S-hero has replied to any of my comments or DM. I hope Hot Toys decides to tackle this guy.

The gold things fell off in shipping with mine. Easy fix...Walmart sells little velcro circles that are exactly the same size as the gold things, so it's super easy to stick them on using them...

Where’d you order your figure from? There’s still some in stock at One Sixth Outfitters and I’m thinking about pulling the trigger. This video definitely makes me nervous though.

Its a disaster, actually I have been comissioned to repair 2 of these that why I am watching this review. Use sew on snaps in the spot for the gold medalions, it works wonders.. as for the recommendation.. yeah I feel like all the sellers these days think all sixth scale collectors knows how to hand sew or magically manufacture parts out of thin air. 😂

Happened to me too when removing the fur collar.

  • @starXzen

lol sheesh, well i was going to get this and the Mezco, but i guess im just sticking with the Mezco, DOOM is a Tall character, dudes like 6'2 out of the armor and

What does the inside look like if you take off the clothes of the product?

  • @user-um9qt3ib5i

Just got mine in. Easiest way to hold the book is angled like he's holding it open and far away. I can drop a pic if it helps. Sorry you got a bad one.

  • @Toytography

Mine arrived with BOTH of the "knee parts" broken. :(

You can always tell younger guys when they collect. When I grew up in the seventies my Figures were megos. We had no articulation no detail we had screen printed costumes and no accessories. So to me to get something that I have to do a little bit of work on to make perfect when 90% of the heavy lifting has been done and I'm paying under $220 I have no complaints. If this was hot toys with their 350 plus dollar figures I guess I could see it but at this price point I can't really complain. But I guess to each their own.

Thanks for the review. Scale is off. Doom in armor is supposed to be 6' 4". Cap is supposed to be 6' 2". Also in the promotional for the figure, I thought the cape was supposed to have wire so that the shape could be positioned. Too expensive for me for what the reviews seem to be saying.

The scale is way off! Even according to Marvel stats, Victor Von Doom's height is around 6'2" and close to seven feet when in his armour. I think Cap is supposed to be around the 6'2"/ 6'3" mark as well.

  • @lacuevadelgriton

    Where you bought it?😂

  • @marottamonster

Hey good review, I also pulled the trigger and bought one as I thought "how cool, a Dr. Doom figure". Not a big fan using a magnetic neck and headsculpt, and my right knee armor piece also was broken and in the box. I was missing the chain that holds the medallions on his tunic/cape, and felt really uncomfortable trying to bend his arms at the elbows. The masks were also hit or miss [well the one "smiling mask" was anyway, the other one fit nicely]. It's unfortunate but I guess you live and you learn.

  • @TheCollectorCave

Man, I love mine. Didn't have these problems. My biggest complaint is the mask magnets make the masks too low and his eyes are too high up.

Does not bode well for the iron monarch figure.
