Fantastic and very informative video on resin. Really enjoy this and found it very interesting. You explain things so well. Thank you so much for such a detailed video.
Thank you so much brenda 🥰❤ so glad! Xx
Safety y'all! !! Gloves, respirators, and goggles!! Resin produces vapours so please use it in a ventilated area! I\ll be making dice with some and I'm excited :)
I saw youtuber work with resin and epoxi and I love the final projects. Good explanation. Thank you so much for sharing
Thank you so much for watching nelida xx

Thank you sandy 🥰❤❤
Ooh lovely video we learnt about uv resin from your channel, we've just ordered in some uv resin, hopefully it will come in a few weeks

This is really imformative especially for me who’s just starting with resin art. Thank you so much ❤️
Most welcome 🥰
Resin is something I have never tried. Thanks for sharing. Take care.
It's so simple, especially uv resin, I hope you can try it xx
Thanks for the video. I have always wanted to try resin but I have always found it quite intimidating. I also live in a flat with tiny windows and I was worried about poisoning myself as there is so little ventilation!
Aww Laura no not at all, I don't always have the window open but thankfully these are low fumes and non toxic, you can definitely be safe with it especially wearing a mask and gloves. You use such small amounts as well when crafting like jewelry. Thank you for watching and commenting, it means a lot especially as I brought out a new kind of video. Xx
This is such an interesting video! I learned so much about about the different types of resin, I had no idea! You can really make some beautiful art with it, I love your blue piece ~ Thanks so much for this share. . .I'm now tempted to try using resin!
Thank you lori! You really need to watch the second part to be wowed and see how easy it is! Thank you so much for watching xx
@@LiyanaDIY I can't wait ~ this was so interesting ~ Can't wait to see part 2!
@@LoriBlyeDIY thank you !xx
Thanks so much for this information. I’ve had UV and epoxy resin for ages to use with polymer clay for dioramas etc., but felt intimidated. As I’ve only just found your channel, I will be enjoying a binge! 🥴 Great to hear a UK voice too as I know I will understand the shops etc you name in your videos. With grateful thanks from Scotland! ❤️🏴
Thanks! It's so nice seeing someone from the uk! I love dioramas too! Have fun and thanks again 😊
Another proud Scottish lady here 🏴💕❤️
@@farrahlillybarker1002 I love Scotland! Welcome ladies 🥰
I’ll try to do some crafty protects with these and I’ll share them on my channel. I hope it works 😂😂😂thanks for sharing xxx

Terrarium & Crafts thank you so much lovely 🌺😘❤️
hi, sukainah.....very interesting, and so far, easy to understand...looking forward to seeing what can be created with resin.....xxx
Thank you! ❤🥰 I am glad you found it easy to digest and understand xx
@@LiyanaDIY I used to make silk flower arrangements in glass and i used, what I would think may have been, epoxy resin to make the "water?" It came in a kit, and I'd have to mix the liquids from the two bottles...pour it into whatever kind of glass i was using to house the arrangement......and it took a good day or so to dry.......xxxx
@@rhondabentley9694 fake floral water yes! I have a bottle of that too, expensive but I want to see how well it works compared to the resin. It is very similar stuff, does the same thing really!
@@LiyanaDIY Good Morning, ....;-) It should be interesting to see if the fake water works like resin, Sukainah. I found a box in my closet a few weeks ago...It has to be pretty old..I didn't look to see if there's an expiration date....do resins, of any kind....go bad?
@@rhondabentley9694 unfortunately they can :( yellowing can occur
Thanks for this video! I have a project in mind and was wondering which resin to use, this helped a lot.
If I put something like dried flowers in resin and wanted to get rod of the bubbles using a lighter, would it harm the flowers inside (if they were completely submerged)?
you're welcome! :) I'm so glad it helped you out. I've never had an issue with it affecting the flowers, but you can trial it and see just to be sure, and use a straw to blow at the bubbles or a toothpick if needed :)
@@LiyanaDIY thank you!
@@vernowietsch you're welcome 😊
I am new to resin. I've used two part resin about 6 times, and results are mixed. Is it possible to UV over two part to get a smooth finish and do I need to prep the pieces in some way?
So almost like a top coat to add shine? Yes. Wait for your epoxy to cure, and then you can add a layer of the UV resin and cure that, it will give you a smooth gloss finish. Nothing to mix or prepare you simple pour it out the bottle directly onto the surface. Hope that helps, I'm here for any other questions 🧡
im confuse about doming stuff.. cuz some shop sell in in hard and soft.. which of it suit to dome effect the most?
Hard is waaayyyy better trust me. I always dome with hard.
@@bubbleslovesmichael81958 WHYY DO I ONLY GET THIS NOTIFICATION NOW.. thengkiu honey..
First 😍😍😂
You're actually pretty much first all the time recently! ❤❤ thank youu 😘
@@LiyanaDIY When I watched your DIY with the tiny cute dolphins "I think" I was wondering if you used the gel that's used in nail salons 🙈🙈, but I get it now .
Awwww you're welcome 🥰🥰
It's a medium called uv resin but it is like the gel used for nails, cures under the same light and machine too! ❤🤗
I used the same product uv resin for keychain but it has a bad smell even it is already dried for 2 days . How did you lessen the smell of the uv resin ?Thank you for the info ♥️
Yes I found with cheap UV resin it smelt even days after! I changed to another UV resin and it definitely helped
Terrarium & Crafts May I know what shop did you buy the uv resin ? Thank you so much for your help 😊
I got them off ebay but they came from China 😊
Can I put epoxy into the uv light? thank you
Unfortunately only UV resin cures under the UV light
Hello~ is UV resin easy to mix with pigments?
Yes 😊
Hi! I'm using the same UV resin and it has a strong odor, how do you get rid of it? 🙂
It does unfortunately, I've tried different brands and found some to smell less, you can sometimes find non toxic low fume bottles and they're much better
@@LiyanaDIY Hi! Thank you for your reply. I guess I need to try a different UV resin next time. Take care! 😁
Where is part 2?
