    Thanks for the video. I have always wanted to try resin but I have always found it quite intimidating. I also live in a flat with tiny windows and I was worried about poisoning myself as there is so little ventilation!

      Aww Laura no not at all, I don't always have the window open but thankfully these are low fumes and non toxic, you can definitely be safe with it especially wearing a mask and gloves. You use such small amounts as well when crafting like jewelry. Thank you for watching and commenting, it means a lot especially as I brought out a new kind of video. Xx

    Thanks for this video! I have a project in mind and was wondering which resin to use, this helped a lot.
    If I put something like dried flowers in resin and wanted to get rod of the bubbles using a lighter, would it harm the flowers inside (if they were completely submerged)?

      you're welcome! :) I'm so glad it helped you out. I've never had an issue with it affecting the flowers, but you can trial it and see just to be sure, and use a straw to blow at the bubbles or a toothpick if needed :)

    I am new to resin. I've used two part resin about 6 times, and results are mixed. Is it possible to UV over two part to get a smooth finish and do I need to prep the pieces in some way?

    • @LiyanaDIY
      @LiyanaDIY  Před 4 lety

      So almost like a top coat to add shine? Yes. Wait for your epoxy to cure, and then you can add a layer of the UV resin and cure that, it will give you a smooth gloss finish. Nothing to mix or prepare you simple pour it out the bottle directly onto the surface. Hope that helps, I'm here for any other questions 🧡
