I have NEVER cried while reading a book until I read Reminders of Him. That book cut my heart into a million pieces. My heart broke so bad for Kenna. They had sex like every other page so I skipped a lot, but HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend

@@zozomccormack I get that! I’ve heard that Slammed and Point of Retreat were good! and then This Girl was kinda meh. I’ve heard Too Late was really good and Never Never was really good until the last 15 pages!
dont read never never, i think it being an early book it doesnt give some of the plots enough complexity imo. good easy read but deserved to be longer/series to make the most out of the storyline !
My first book I read by her was It Ends With Us cause a bunch of my friends at work either read it or were reading it lol then a month after I read it is when It Starts With Us released and I devoured it in 2 days. She got me back into reading as well! I just finished Ugly Love the other day (loved it)!Now I’m reading Hopeless and then Finding Hope. Then I also have Layla that I recently purchased and my husband got me Verity (the edition with the extra chapter) and he also got me maybe now (we didn’t realize it was the 3rd book in a trilogy but it’s the thought that counts🥹)

Ugly love, Reminders of Him, and Regretting you.
Reminders of him is my favourite - it's the first I read, and also the first girly book I ever read. Got me locked into the Colleen Hoover writing style.
I read "Regretting you" next. Although I loved the first half, I found the second half a bit disapointing and unpolished. The writing felt rushed compared to Reminders of Him, and the story was pretty straight arrowed for the rest.
Ugly Love - Incredible writing, great change from Regretting you. Timeless themes written very well.
Summary - Reminders of him - Best Overall, Regretting you - Incredible Story , Ugly Love - Perfect Writing

"Reminders of Him" is easily my FAVORITE book by Colleen Hoover, hands down! I could NOT put the book down, so this is why it took me bout a day and a half to finish it (between working a full-time job) 😍

it’s not necessary, no sequel is technically necessary, it’s just if you want to continue reading the story/following along with the characters!
Reminders of him ended me omg. It was my 4th book of hers and legit sobbed so much.

This has very little to do with the video but I was just thinking about it. First, I loved every single one of these books and I can't wait to read the ones that I have not read. Second, I feel like It Ends With Us doesn't truly belong in the romance genre. I feel like if Colleen wants the book to feel more serious (as it is) then it would probably belong better in the Literary Fiction genre. Putting it in romance feels.. I don't know how to explain my feeling but contemporary romance (one of the genres listed) and literary fiction just seem to fit better. But that's just my opinion and I am definitely not a professional.

y’all calling It Ends With Us a romance when it’s an abuse story (a bad one at that, but ANYWAY) with some romance elements in it just comes to show not only how Colleen Hoover is actually a bad author, but also that the majority of her fanbase has no real understanding of abusive situations.
