- 13 members of the Group 66 Motorcycle Club form Plymouth and Elkhart Lake Wisconsin ride the state of Texas on motorcycles.
The route starts in Flower Mound and then the city stops following include: Marble Falls, Kerrville, San Antonio, Austin, Crockett, Marshall and Hillsboro.
A variety of breakfast diners and dinner establishments were visited and highlighted by name.
This story produced by Mark’s Garage celebrated the friendship and passion for riding together.
The video highlights some mechanical breakdowns in the middle of the tour. Mark's rented Honda Goldwing developed rear brake failure and after further technical evaluation, the rear final drive assembly also needed replacement.

Just wanted to provide a more recent update about the issue with my bike as Progressive Powersports did a more thorough examination and it was determined that the Rear Final Drive Assembly failed due to some bearings that were worn out which drained out the entire lube from the unit. Very unusual for a bike with less than 11K miles for this to happen!
Thank God that I purchased the extended "EFG Warranty" when I bought the bike from WOW Motorcycle, GA and they said they will cover the cost of the brand new replacement final drive assembly unit and labor.
Rear brake pads were not worn out as initially thought.
I will also be getting brand new tires (front and back), new front break pads, and sn oil change, while at the Progressive Powersports. Logan, Caitlin and their entire team have been great at the service and parts department.
Thanks for your update on the bike, Binoy. Very unusual for that to happen on a Honda Gold Wing. Glad to know that everything got sorted out for you. All the best and I'll look forward to staying in touch.
