It was amazing to watch her after the games at Carver Hawkeye Arena. The children would be lunging over each other just to get an autograph or have her say 'hello' to them. She really has a great connection with them.
i love her humbleness... and its true, an injury could prevent anyone from going back to the all-star game, dont take it for granted.
This lady, I have always maintained, is way beyond her age...she's very mature, handles the publicity with great responsibility -- this i believe is a critical reason why i lot of people like her. Everyone (or some people) can be good and demonstrate some unique skills and/or abilities, but not everyone has this amount of graciousness...

Impact of this lady on WNBA: I have never heard mention of WNBA all-star game prior to now.

I didn't know women's basketball existed before Angel Reese raised her hand. Been watching ever since.
I never heard of the WNBA before this year. Never watched basketball in my whole life (I’m 60 years old). I just accidentally stumbled on a story about Caitlin Clark breaking some scoring record in the NCAA and I thought it would give me and my 83-year-old mother something to watch on TV other than reruns of “Law and Order.” We got hooked on Clark immediately and now have the WNBA League Pass and we watch every Fever game with Clark and also some of the Las Vegas Aces to see Kate Martin.

It happens all the time, in men's sports too. They had a bit of a rivalry when they were still in college and were both drafted early in the first round. Now they play against eachother a few times a year in the wnba. What are the media supposed to do? It's their jobs to find stories. Calm down.

I find it weird more people arent a fan of both players. If clark and the fever arent playing the next best thing i will watch is a sky game, Angel's puts more effort into a single play then some players do in an entire quarter. Same with clark. Watching them is refreshing from a long time NBA fans perspective.
Crazy thing about it is that a person can like both if they want. Not everything has to be so polarizing.
Interesting that CC always has these almost PR approved responses seemingly prepped and ready...EXCEPT when asked about the racism, bullying and harassment experienced by Black players, being done in her name. After an initial response that can only be described as EXTREMELY tone-deaf, CC better qualified her answer a few hours later (probably after a convo with HR). You're a long way from Iowa, Caitlin; the culture shock is both obvious and real! Her adjustment OFF the court will likely be more difficult than the ones she has to make on it, and may very well determine the extent of her overrall success.

Clark’s parents are marketing executives and she was a marketing major. She knows how to say the right thing to promote the league. She has that savvy. Reese is just pure fun on the mic. The WNBA could have made some sustainable gains putting the two of them on the Olympic team.
Clark has no business on the Olympic or All-Star team. This is a woman who clotheslined Caitlin Clark and then jumped off the bench and celebrated as her teammate blindsided Caitlin. She celebrated, and tried to hurt the #1 rookie in the league.
