By now you'll have heard that Sydnie won the hearts of the British viewers and swept the board with her singing. Her songs are all going to be recorded again, and she is on the way now to reach beyond the West End, even to the ends of the earth. She's been put on level pegging with Liza Minneli, Dame Shirley Bassey, Whitney Houston, etc.: Sydnie is already one of the greats of the modern era.

Very nice reaction. I've watched almost every reaction video to this song and it is very obvious that almost every one who starts the video is falling in love with Sydnie within a couple of seconds after she enters the stage. Her witty, comical and extremely likeable personality barely leaves any room for not liking her. The way she sang TOMORROW after her introduction goes on top of her lovely personality and far beyond everything I've ever heard on BGT. Hope she's gonna win this competition.

Stew, I hope you didn't mean that you won't do another blind reaction lol. I think I warned you again about this one. I generally don't request talent show auditions unless there's something special about them and I thought this met the criteria. Also since it was in your home country, perhaps it made it a little more special. As long as you are willing and able, there is more where that came from 😉. Glad you enjoyed it.
How could you not love her? A little background info: This version was actually recorded by Marisha Wallace as a fundraiser, 3 years ago, during the Pandemic, when the theaters were all closed. Sydnie improved it by leaps and bounds. Regarding her prior experience. She was part of a cast for a couple of plays in the past. 1 in London and 1 in Germany. She also was a cruise ship performer for Royal Caribbean. So she has experience, but has never performed on The West End according to her interviews. She was an understudy before Covid closed everything. Not exactly a household name (yet). I heard shades of Judy Garland there.
