Love your reactions 😍 Sydnie has NOT worked in the West End. Lots of misinformation out there. She’s covered roles on tour but the irony is, she’s too good for the West End. I worked on large scale West End shows for 15 years and have never heard a voice as good as hers. Along with that fabulous personality, she has no limit to her potential. I can picture the “Christmas “ world tour already. She is a once in a generation talent 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💜
And even if she’s been an understudy in West End and sang in cruise ships professionally and all the other stuff people are saying “against” her… why would that disqualify her from BTG? Plenty of other acts on BTG make money off their craft; they just haven’t had a big break. It’s not like Sydnie is a household name and making lots of money - she’s legitimately never had a big break until now.
Thank you for clarifying her West End potential. Even if her dream is to stay in the West End productions, with today’s media options she can reign in several platforms.
@@arturog.faustoberumen7336 Anyone and I mean ANYONE who has ever sung and has gotten paid for singing, would technically be considered "professional". That doesn't mean they have all the accolades that professionals acquire, over a long span of their careers. AND they may not even possess the sheer talent or God-given voice this young lady has. Ms. Christmas' past jobs as a singer, pale in comparison to what winning this show and having that BIG BREAK of a lifetime will give to her!! I'm an American and I am totally blown away with Sydnie Christmas and everything about her!! Good job voters!! You picked THE most talented and the most deserved that BGT has had in many years!!!! Thank you for making a beautiful (inside and out) young lady's dream come true!!!

I've never paid much attention to the lyrics of the song before. Sydnie made me feel those lyrics. That song means more with her, than from anyone else I've ever heard it from.
I've listened to the trio of songs she performed. I can't pick a favorite. Her voice is majestic to the point of being angelic. Best vocals I've EVER heard! Bravo, Sydney!!

Sydney said she has worked on cruise ships, but when covid hit she was out of work, and when it was over trying to start again after almost two years proved very difficult, this is why Sydney had to try BGT, and WOW, she has the perfect voice for Broadway Musicals and the Westend, she reminds me of the great Shirley Bassie in her prime, if I could remember her name the Hollywood actress from many Hollywood Musicals who left us many years ago, Sydney has almost the same voice as her, just fantastic, now it's going to drive me crazy trying to remember who she was. 😊

It's truly astonishing how much crystal clear sound can come out of one woman. She certainly is a 10 out of 10... I won't say '11' because you cannot get Higher than 10 out of 10... What you can do, however, is *"RAISE THE BAR"* and that is precisely what she has just done. Most of those who were a '10' have just been Demoted. Because there's a New *"10"* in Town !

Just so much vitriol in some areas of the internet because of her prior experience. From what I know she sang on cruise ships and did a play in Germany. Shows like this can discover new talent but they are also to give people a chance that have been overlooked.
I’m from Philadelphia and she is the most amazing singer I have ever seen on a talent competition… chills and pure amazement. I want to see her live and feel the goosebumps all over!! Just beautiful. Thank you so much for your critique. I grew up in the Motown days with Dionne Warwick, Dianna Ross, Leslie Gore and the likes. On to Ronstadt, Striesdand, and Carol King to mention a few. Mariah. Whitney, Celine, and Donna Summer. Could it get any better. Sam Bailey from The X Factor then became my number one favorite with her rendition of, "My Heart Wiil Go On." (A must see if you haven't yet). Sydnie Christmas has taken all the crowns from all of her predicessors. I can't imagine how anyone coming along in the future could possibly surpass the tone, control, quality and presence of Miss Christmas. The thought of her in concert is inconceivable.

The fact that she won by only singing 3 songs tells how good she is.
I won’t spoil this video by saying how she did in the final, but she did win this semifinal. Now that she established her vocal talent with Tomorrow, this showed off her musical theatre talent with the big notes. There’s a surprise coming in the final regarding song choice.
