Trinity is a gem. It's off the beaten path and the bass get little Presher. My dad used to take me fishing there as a kid. I'd get so car sick on the windy roads lol but it was all worth it. 100% The heat is something else to. 2010 during the fires it was 114 degrees in red bluff no one was fishing that week!

Bummer to hear the tournament was cancelled but glad you were able to still head up to do some fun fishing. I was hoping you'd be able to emulate those historical catches in this vid but still a nice vid to watch. Always good to see folks helping other folks out too . . . WELL DONE!
Damian always brings out the best in a lake, and what better than Trinity. Even the base of the Trinity Dam, which is Lewiston Lake, it has awesome trout fishing with 2-3 lb. rainbows at the spillway.
