My opinion, this is the best small mouth fishery in the PNW. So happy to come across this, no one knows this area unless you’re from here or have friends from there that take you.

I grew up a few hours away from there. Beautiful country. I live further south now but definitely want to get back up there for some fishing. Love the fishing content in this video but just seeing the scenery was amazing for me.

You're up in my neck of the woods. Thats my all time favorite lake to fish!!! I caught a 9lb 4oz smalley there a couple years ago. Cant wait for the tournament this year. Great fishing though and hope you had a blast. If you want to hit a few more good lakes around there sometime hit me up.

What is the lake called?
I know this lake pretty well. Pretty much spent my high school days wakeboarding and fishing this lake. We used to call it Mountain Dew Lake. Probably one of the most beautiful lakes in the state.

That Dolly Varden was HUGE compared to the ones I used to catch when I was stationed
on Adak Island up in Alaska. Pretty fish and fun to catch. Not a great reputation. They are known for raiding the beds and feeding on eggs of other trout species.

If you want to catch some monster walleye and Northern, you should check out devil's lake in North Dakota. It's amazing!
Would never say where u are bud,but i know! In about 1988-89 my grandpa and i went with a old timer that lived close to the lake.we caught instantly huge dolly's, rainbows and last day caught 4 or 5 lake trout that were over 25lbs.we caught a few huge smallies while trout fishing. They were in like friggin 200ft of water.killer lake though!

I know where thats at and like others have said it's a tough lake to figure out. It does have monster small mouths but I personally ain't catch much the few times I tried fishing the lake.
Thank god I live where we have monster smallmouth, my pb is only 7.1 but my partner caught a 9.1 in a tournament two weeks ago

This isn't a lake, it's a reservoir. Almost everyone I know who fished it wants the Kokanee, but times are changing.
Finally got myself 4 smallies here in Ohio today 😎 biggest was about 2.5 pounds. Can't complain. The ones y'all got today are my PBs. I hope y'all get a record. Tight lines 😎

This is 40 miles from my house. I took my 3 little boys up there about a month ago and they all broke the 5# mark. Pretty special place.

A few yrs ago I went with a buddy after ice out for smallmouth. My buddy snagged a dead deer with a tube but it wasn't as decomposed. Still stunk tho.....idk why he didn't just cut his line lol

Spent some time deer hunting those inlets, while hunting we threw a few crank baits and caught a couple 6-9 lb smallies. Fun spot!
