    Finally an honest observation of Pettersson's play. Too many people making silly excuses for his indifferent play. He has shown zero effort, desire and heart with his nonchalant attitude on the ice. Make him watch videos of every other Canuck on the ice and he will see what effort is. Not just poking your stick out to try and stop an opposing player. Maybe try skating to get to a loose puck. Oh and maybe use your body instead of your butt to hit somebody. Honestly, I would rather see Podkolzin play than this lifeless Swede.

    The Predators have to be all bruised up and in pain after blocking all those shots. Canucks limited Predators to basically only 12 shots the entire game, so it’s up to DeSmith to save those shots. Powerplay needs to get going and Pettersson needs to get going.

    Demko’s durability is a concern. Luongo hardly ever got hurt even though he played a much heavier schedule than Demko.

    • @mrquirky3626
      @mrquirky3626 Před 13 dny

      It's not Demko's durability that's the problem, it's that the Canucks defense still allows too many guys to just walk in and get high percentage chances on our goalies. If your goalie is expected to make desperation saves like that splits save Demko made early in game one all the time, then your goalies are going to eventually hurt themselves by having to stretch their bodies too far to overcome the mistakes of their teammates.

    Pettersens problem is hes not flashy. He gets alot of soft points second assists and powerplay points. Yes hes a decent player but he hasnt learned how to be a dominant player who can control the game

    Playoff hockey is a complete different animal. It’s for real hockey players and never meant for the soft and weak legged Petey. He wishes to get out of the round asap and hit the ⛳️ under the Florida ☀️ by next weekend. Oh, the $11M pay check comes in very soon too so he would be very busy counting 💴💴.
