- The Liberator® HP headset is the next generation in electronic hearing protection, offering crisp, clear audio in a durable, scratch-resistant, slim earcup.
The Liberator HP provides enhanced hearing protection in all environments, including those with impulse/gunfire noise and high-decibel, constant background audio. The wearer is protected while advanced sound localization allows for maximum situational awareness and sound detection.
The glass polymer, injection-molded, slim earcups provide excellent durability and is the base earcup for the Liberator IV and V headsets. The Liberator HP can be sent in and converted (for an additional charge) into either a single or dual comm headset. Once the headset has been converted to a Liberator IV or V, a Push-to-Talk (PTT) can also be purchased separately and added to the system.

This is something I'm definitely gonna purchase so I can attach them to my ballistic helmet!! AWESOME!! Also I really like how I can personalize it due to my specific needs & wants!!
Didn't learn anything I wanted to know about. As in how do I get it onto the helmet mount and what helmet mounts actually work with it.
Are these compatible with the ops core helmet earpro mounts
The the behind the head come with the headset or do you have to purchase it separately?
What's the NRR on this very expensive protection?
Can you connect a auxiliary cable so I can hear music with these?
No aux ports on these as of yet. Keep in mind that these have all of the same Mil Spec certs as the tactical headsets. Having the ports on them would negate some of those certs.
The website states the Liberator 2.0 has firmware updates to update the electronics? Is this true?
Can these be turned into comm devices? I've seen people put addons to walkers razers and sordins to make them comms capeable - is it the same case for these head phones?
does the headset come with all 3 suspension options? or just the configuration you purchase
Just the config you purchase but you can order any of the suspension separately.
wonder if these are worth it over my comp III.
Comtac's are a good legacy hearing pro, been around a while. The technology is older and does not offer nearly the features or the sound quality. Reaction time is slower, one mode, one battery style, not adaptive suspension, less efficient. None the less, the III's are not a bad pair of ears for the range.
Will these work on the Hard head veterans helmet?
Our helmet mounts work great with Gen 1 and Gen 2 HHV Helmets. Important to note the difference when ordering. V.1 and V.2 are very different.
How well does it work with standard PASGT helmets
Sorry for the delayed response on this. The slim earcups allow a nice comfortable fit under the helmets. I'd recommend the BTH model.
@@TacticalBP thank you
When will liberator have a helmet mount accessory.
They have them with rail mounts on the website
Helmet mount option is available now for all helmet models.
Is there going to be a version that can have comms attached to it?
The liberator IV is the version that has the ability to attach to radio for comms. Same functionality, and same great electronics hearing protection package.
They are like $700+
In other words just buy Sordins, got it.
At $259 i guess you pay to play
