I did use stick controls when I was new to Splatoon... but this made me stressed and have a headache at the end aaah Q3Q

I used to use stick controls. I could never get out of B. That was because stick controls have terrible aim.
I don't think thats a valid point, I've been a Dual Squelcher player for quite a while, using 0 sensitivity and using analogs and I'm S+.
Preference and most important, PRACTICE helps either way if you use motions or sticks.
That intro made me experience high tides.

It really depends on what speed and what mode you prefer. I chose non-motion controls because I always get the charger tangled up with motion controls. And I prefer slow things, so I did -3.

I remember when this video was uploaded. :) I still play with stick controls and I stay pretty steady at A+ I'm trying to learn motion controls but it's quite hard since I played with sticks since the release of splatoon
I don't use motion/gyro. Stick controls work for me the best since I play a lot of console shooters. Analog controls feel just right and more natural since it's the standard for all console shooters
Hearing them freaking out over using stick controls is so funny cause thats how I sound when I try to use Gyro. "What in the- Whats going on- I cant do anything AAAA"

I use the gyro controls, but I can see why some find it so difficult to get used to. Trust me, I hated them at first, but once I got used to them, I just couldn't go back to analog

I have never used motion controls, sometimes I turn them on to see what's it's like and it seems so confusing.
Tbh the no attack rule is stupid because once you are in the general area of the seeker, you're pretty much dead.
only the hiders could not kill since the controls are hard enough. It was only implied on this one session. Future sessions will have the hiders allow to splat the seekers unless it's 3 vs 1... you know how that ended up with me XD

Why do people who have Splatoon always prefer motion controls? They bash on using the anolog stick, which makes me get a liiiitle bit mad. I don't use motion controls and when I do, I only use it for sniping. I REALLY don't get why people think it's hard. I got used to motion controls quickly and if you only use motion controls, try use the anolog stick, and stick with it for a while, try to get better with the controls instead of hating on it. And I'm guessing a few of you (most of you) will say "I did try it and I hate it", my answer to that is "How long did you try it?" If you only play three or four times a week it might take a month for you to get used to it, but if your fast you'll probably get used to it in two in a half weeks. But if you play Splatoon every other day or everyday and you go online two or three times, you should get used to it by the end of the week or maybe a week in a half if your slow. But then again, I don't know everything, just please don't hate it and don't give up when you don't get the full potential of what the anolog controls can really do, you just gotta get used to them! Just, please try it.
I said in one of the Stick Control videos I DID use Stick Controls from lv.1 till around the lv.30+. I switched and hot used to Motion controls when I was watching some tip videos since I was struggling getting pass my B+ rank at the time being. Since then I got used to it and see how it's personally for me better. But it's stupid some people get salty or have a VS fight over Stick VS Motion controls. What matters is what you are comfortable playing with.
I use a mix of both of them. Motion to aim up and down faster or to turn quickly to flick splat someone with my roller to the left and right. And I use the stick to move my camera to look behind me quickly and splat whoever was chasing me.
