Never been able to get a clear answer as to why some Guterwagen were green while the standard DR livery was the usual red-brown. Could someone enlighten me? Was green postal and red-brown freight? Thanks in advance!

No. It's an kit from the brand SABRE. Even the artbox is the same. Google it. "SABRE 35A01 1/35 RAILWAY COVERED G10 WAGON"
