    Great tutorial! I was genuinely curious about these for my 21 fatbob. Thanks and ride safe bro.

    Hi. You put your back rest below to the top screw, I think you should be putting it above of the top screw. I got myself a 2020 fat bob too! Have a good one, drive safe and enjoy it!!!

      Thank you. I don’t have it anymore, but yes, it was definitely a bad ass machine. Its hard as hell to find bags for though. It’s a muscle bike, not a tourer. So long range accessories are slim pickings.

      I didn’t get it online. It’s genuine H-D parts. Go to your local H-D dealer and ask for the Hold-Fast quick release sissy bar system. All in I think I paid a little over $300. You have to purchase the bar, installation hardware and back rest all separately.

    Looks good man! I’m curious, how you enjoying the fat bob and what kind of feedback are getting on the bike...reason I’m asking is I’m prob gonna be grabbing that bike in the next few days, unlike some of the older gen I actually love the new front head light on that bike

    • @simcityauto9610
      @simcityauto9610  Před 4 lety +1

      The bike is amazing. People stop to talk about it and tell me it’s nice all the time. Most people don’t even know what it is and then when you tell them it’s a H-D their face lights up. The bike is super easy to get used to. If you come from riding sport bikes like me, the Fat Bob makes you feel right at home. It has a great lean angle for a cruiser and is a rocket of the line. You’ll be very pleased with your purchase. Just do yourself a favor and spend the extra money on getting the 114 cu in.

    Will this kit fit a 2020 Softail slim? What is the kit name and serial number so I can buy?

      Not sure, but probably not. I got it from my local H-D dealer. It’s all genuine H-D parts.

      Well you know Harley-Davidson makes you buy everything separately. So after buying the bar, the mounting hardware and the back pad, you come in a bit over $300. I can’t remember the exact number, but just be ready to spend between $300-$350, plus installation if you don’t do it yourself.

    Real nice my friend! I just picked up my left over 2019 Fat Bob over the weekend and i find my self grinning every time I get on it :)
    Can you link me to the product page for the sissy bar and back rest? The Mrs. keeps poking me to get one and if that's all she's bothering me about then I'll over night it :)
    Edit*
    I rewound and heard you mention the name mstore.harley-davidson.com/store/holdfast-sissy-bar-upright-pa-16-52300454--1

      Nick G Thanks. I have a big ole grin on my face every time as well. It’s just a very fun bike to ride. They have usable power everywhere you need it. My only gripes about the bike is that the cluster is out of your direct field of view and the gas tank should’ve been a larger capacity. You’ll find yourself stopping for gas more than usual (especially if you have the 114 cu in like I do).
