Just purchased the S&M bags with SLC side carriers for my KTM 390 adv. Amazing bags ! So happy, typical SW Motech craftsmanship. These are good to go. Waterproof, durable, top loading, really look the part. A real homer in with SLC racks 👍👍
Quick and easy to detach and also quick and easy to steal. There is an optional lock for the pro rack but no lock to secure the bags to the rack. The bags are really expensive so I think you should consider a locking mechanism that's better than a cable lock.
You are right, the SysBags are not lockable. If you are looking for lockable luggage, maybe our TRAX ADV boxes could be an option for you? Thanks for your feedback!
I used to have your Trax panniers which I i really liked, but am now interested in the Dusc or Sys panniers for my GS 1300 when I get it, around the end of this year. I had thought of getting Lone Rider bags but I like yours as well. I would however, love to see a proper lock system on your soft bags as just a couple of loops to hold a cable is not very secure, as the loop material could easily be cut, rendering the cable useless. I would also like to see the inside of the bags a light colour so it's really easy to see inside. I know you have the grey insert, but that is deep in the bag and one may not want to use it. Dear Team, I really like these new bags, but my question is how can resist the small and medium bags if I fall down with the bike. As I can see these are "semi rigid". Looks like the large is sturdy enough but I'm not sure that I really need 4.3kg+ just for the empty bags it's not so much less than an aluminium box. Danke

In the event of a fall, they do give a little, not like the completely dimensionally rigid aluminium cases. The total weight of the SysBag WP L including the adapter plate is about 4.3 kg, the bag alone weighs about 2.9 kg. Hi. Interesting products, but I would like to see the width of the bike with the bags mounted. For example, when I select the Sysbags WP L for my Super Adventure S, on your website, I get the general description, and the width of an individual bag (no way to tell its minimum and maximum width depending on its 27 or 40 L configuration, though). But I think that a mention, specific to each bike and telling the total width would be of great help. Why not some kind of configurator? We could specify the bike, what we want on the left side, what we want on the right side, what we want on the back, and the we get the added weight and total width. Maybe it's just me, but I find it to be a very useful piece information.

This means that the bags with the adapter plates and the adapter kit are cheaper than if you were to buy everything separately.

Have the Pro carrier (great product), and these Sysbags in Large. Are there things (like an extra fuel cannister etc.) that you can mount to the inside of the rack when the bags are mounted? Also, can you tell me what the design thought was to put the Molle webbing on the outside of the bags? It is already a wide setup with the Pro carrier and these bags. I really don't want to attach things (like a bottle for example) to the outside Molle and make the setup even wider. I would have preferred some Molle on front and back of the bags.
Good day Eigenaar 01, Unfortunately we do not have fuel cannisters for the inside of the rack. However, we do have a toolbox that you can mount on the inside of the Pro carrier. Well, the Molle patch is a design feature which you can use to attach other stuff, should you feel comfortable. It has not been placed on the sides because the bags themselves are adjustable in width. //AS

Hi I've just purchased the M version of these they look great haven't used them yet but so far so good on fitting them to the bike 😊 but I have a question how do I expand the capacity to the 21litres on your blaze saddlebags you just used the zip to extend the panniers to get extra space , is it that I don't roll the bag up so much that gives me the extra space I'm really not sure lol 😅 your help would be much appreciated guys thanks 😊
Hello John, Thank you very much for your comment. The volume expansion of the SysBag WP M is done via the roll top. If you roll it up from the top only 3 times, you have a volume of 23 litres, but if you roll it up even further, you only have a volume of 17 litres. //KS

Hello SW-motech. I already have the PRO side carrier because i have the full Trax Adv luggages system. Would it be possible to switch from the Trax Adv to the sysbag WP L with the same pucks? The four mounting pucks seems to be at the same place but different size. It wouldnt be practical to have to unscrew and re-screw the pucks every time i want to switch from hard to soft luggages...

@SW-MOTECH Hello again, I have installed the sysbag wp L bags. To answer to my own question and to give you a feedback. I realised that if i only change the "special" puck needed for the quicklocking system of the sysbags WP, the rigid Trax Adv cases also fit in that configuration. Basically, i kept the 3 original Trax Adv pucks and only installed the sysbags quicklock puck (the black and aluminium one) and at the end, i can switch from one to the other without having to screw and unscrew any of the pucks
Yes, this will work. All you need is the apropriate adapter for the Sysbags, that are mounted to the Pro carriers. However, you cannot use the Sysbag adapter and the the Trax Cases adapter at the same time

And we don't have the mounting points to attach the PRO side carrier to the R18. The Sysbag WP L is too large and has too high a load weight to be mounted on the SLC side carrier.

Hi and thanks for your request. Each of the WP bags uses an individual adapter plate, due to the shape of the bag. The attachment of each bags is the same, however. So if you use our SLC carrier for example, you can easily swtich between all 3 sizes. Best regards

The 4 attachment points of the big bag that you can see on the video at 8:23 and the "PRO side carrier" adapter plate for the small and medium bag that you can see at 8:57 on the video. Is there any way to lock these bags (perhaps Steelcore cable lock - would that work?) to the pannier mount as well as prevent the bag from being opened? Secondly, how robust is the latch against any falls or accidents. Is it susceptible to potentially snap or break off if the bike falls on the side or has a sliding fall? What kind of warranty is available on that locking mechanism please? Finally, assuming i only want it with the quick release set up using the adaptor plate, can it still be made to work with other pannier mounts like givi / OEM mounts of BMW etc.? Thank you.
Hello akaxe77, to secure the bag you can use cable locks or Steelcore cable. The latch are on top of the bag so that falls and branches cannot damage them. The adapter plate only works with our side carrier. If you want to attach the bags to another carrier system, you can also loop them. //HL

Mmm, its a failure for me.. because most people want the panniers to be able to fit in EVERY bike very easy.. with this panniers the customer must buy spesific racks and spesific adapters for his motorcycle. And if he change hes motorcycle all these extra money is lost because nothing can fit to the new bike. Sorry but, although your great quality, your panniers is not that practical.
Hi DimitrisPan, you don´t have to buy specific side carriers or racks. The SyBag WPs can also be strapped to other manufacturers´ panniers, luggage racks etc.. The adapter plates that work with our PRO or SLC side carriers are just an option for quick and easy mounting. If you don´t need or want this, the bags are also available without adapter plate.
@@SW-MOTECH actually yes you need side carriers. I ride a triumph tiger 800 and i have the oem mounting racks. (Not the adventure). And i cant mount this kind of panniers on my bike without buying new racks like sw-motech or from another brand. Also all the new bikes have specific for the brand mounting options that means that you need some extra racks.. still i must admit that i did not know that you dont need the adapters, video does not show how to mount them without adapters. I am searching for a luggage system right now but the need of a racks just stop me from looking something like these.

you can buy a security key for one of the attachment points OR there is a cheap kit that replaces the quick release

The volume expansion of the SysBag WP M is done via the roll top. If you roll it up from the top only 3 times, you have a volume of 23 litres, but if you roll it up even further, you only have a volume of 17 litres. //KS

I already have the PRO side carrier because i have the full Trax Adv luggages system.
Would it be possible to switch from the Trax Adv to the sysbag WP L with the same pucks? The four mounting pucks seems to be at the same place but different size. It wouldnt be practical to have to unscrew and re-screw the pucks every time i want to switch from hard to soft luggages...

I have installed the sysbag wp L bags. To answer to my own question and to give you a feedback. I realised that if i only change the "special" puck needed for the quicklocking system of the sysbags WP, the rigid Trax Adv cases also fit in that configuration. Basically, i kept the 3 original Trax Adv pucks and only installed the sysbags quicklock puck (the black and aluminium one) and at the end, i can switch from one to the other without having to screw and unscrew any of the pucks
If I have the hard Trax cases would the same rack for the hard case work with the sysbags?
Yes, this will work. All you need is the apropriate adapter for the Sysbags, that are mounted to the Pro carriers. However, you cannot use the Sysbag adapter and the the Trax Cases adapter at the same time

The Sysbag WP L are attached to the PRO side carrier.
And we don't have the mounting points to attach the PRO side carrier to the R18.
The Sysbag WP L is too large and has too high a load weight to be mounted on the SLC side carrier.

Hi and thanks for your request. Each of the WP bags uses an individual adapter plate, due to the shape of the bag. The attachment of each bags is the same, however. So if you use our SLC carrier for example, you can easily swtich between all 3 sizes. Best regards
@@SW-MOTECH Hello concerning the plate on the bags, I understood the differences, my question concerns the attachments on the "PRO side carrier". The 4 attachment points of the big bag that you can see on the video at 8:23 and the "PRO side carrier" adapter plate for the small and medium bag that you can see at 8:57 on the video.
As I would like to use the different sizes of bags and I have the PRO side carrier on my motorbike, I would like to know if I could leave the 4 attachments for the large bag and the plate with the 3 attachments (KFT.00.152.36500) on the PRO side carrier and change the sizes of bags without dismantling anything on the "PRO side carrier".
Because you say that "you can easily swtich between all 3 sizes" are you sure because the big bag has 4 attachment points and the small and medium ones have 3?

Is there any way to lock these bags (perhaps Steelcore cable lock - would that work?) to the pannier mount as well as prevent the bag from being opened?
Secondly, how robust is the latch against any falls or accidents. Is it susceptible to potentially snap or break off if the bike falls on the side or has a sliding fall? What kind of warranty is available on that locking mechanism please?
Finally, assuming i only want it with the quick release set up using the adaptor plate, can it still be made to work with other pannier mounts like givi / OEM mounts of BMW etc.?

to secure the bag you can use cable locks or Steelcore cable.
The latch are on top of the bag so that falls and branches cannot damage them.
The adapter plate only works with our side carrier. If you want to attach the bags to another carrier system, you can also loop them. //HL

You can´t mount our Sysbags without a side carrier, SLC or PRO/EVO. The Sysbags can be strapped individually to the tail end using the adapter plate and the Street Rack.

Mmm, its a failure for me.. because most people want the panniers to be able to fit in EVERY bike very easy.. with this panniers the customer must buy spesific racks and spesific adapters for his motorcycle. And if he change hes motorcycle all these extra money is lost because nothing can fit to the new bike. Sorry but, although your great quality, your panniers is not that practical.
Hi DimitrisPan, you don´t have to buy specific side carriers or racks. The SyBag WPs can also be strapped to other manufacturers´ panniers, luggage racks etc.. The adapter plates that work with our PRO or SLC side carriers are just an option for quick and easy mounting. If you don´t need or want this, the bags are also available without adapter plate.
@@SW-MOTECH actually yes you need side carriers. I ride a triumph tiger 800 and i have the oem mounting racks. (Not the adventure). And i cant mount this kind of panniers on my bike without buying new racks like sw-motech or from another brand. Also all the new bikes have specific for the brand mounting options that means that you need some extra racks.. still i must admit that i did not know that you dont need the adapters, video does not show how to mount them without adapters. I am searching for a luggage system right now but the need of a racks just stop me from looking something like these.
