Anne and I were invited to check out the Wheelchairs for Kids Australia organization this last week so we ran over to the Vincent Resort & Hotel to the Angeles City RSL subbranch office to see what it was about.
The Returned & Services League of Australia, known as RSL, is an independent support organization for people who have served or are serving in the Australian Defense Force. This wonderful group of men and women get together every Tuesday to assemble and donate wheelchairs to less fortunate children ages 2 to 12 years old. They have been doing this for 10 years now and these two wheelchairs were numbers 641 & 642.
Anne and I were honored to be a part of this and Thank You to the Angeles City RSL of Australia for allowing us to attend and video this beautiful day!

How bloody good are the Aussies----from the manufacturer, to the road transport company , to the Airforce to these ex servicemen now living in the Philippines-----makes me proud

As a former USAF C-17 aircraft maintainer, I always enjoyed it when the RAAF (Royal Australian Air Force) C-17 would land at my enroute overseas base. It was always an experience seeing fellow maintainers on the same airframe but from a different country and military branch. The Aussie Air Force is awesome!

RSL has always been a great group here in Angeles City. They provided some very much needed services. The Aussie Community has always been a big part of Angeles City.
i agree 👍 such a nice group of people, not just the RSL but the Aussie Foreigners ive met thru pool league or while out and about, they’ve all been wonderful
