thanks! 🙌
@@TRONCATFPV bro you drive a CR-Z??!?
Damn, just had ordered the Starlight. But I'll eventually switch it out for the Wasp cam. Great video !
Very nice comparation.
Very good comparison, thank you.
I would want one of these just to record video, not for FPV. How would I do that?
My question as well
Great video!! Well done, hank you so much🥰
Bring us a camera that can do 4:3 and 16:9 please! 120 FPS too.
@@Invid72 Thanks, may consider our Falcon Nano☺
The footage from the Wasp looks good, more colorful, WDR is better than nebular pro. So, how much?
The wasp with a link unit is selling for $140 👍
for the price, the wasp looks very nice.
Imagine all that without the distortion of horizontal and vertical lines.
Hi. Great video. Im going to choose a digital system and Id like to aks about range and penetration compared to dji o3? How these systems differ? It wont be my recording camera only sharp camera freestyle/cinematic 50%/50%
Awesome thanks for sharing brother. New sub here 🤘🏻
Hello! There's more bluring on the sides on the wasp. Would it be from different video transmition conditions or is it the camera that is favoring the center in terms of bit rate? Thanks, cheers.
Is the wasp compatible with the goggles 2?
In this video are you comparing the footage from the caddx nebula pro or the nebula pro micro?
I feel kind of let down honestly. No controls and only 4:3? I dunno where I would use this when there are still nebula pros out there.
After testing them I think the main benefits of this camera over the nebula pro is the consistent image color and high dynamic range, its better in low light, and its cheaper. I keep my nebula pro in 4:3 so the fact that this one is fixed doesn't bother me.
If you prefer 16:9 the nebula pro is the best option 👍
I'm using a Hybrid 2 as a helmet cam for tree work. Does alright saving the video to the onboard micro sd. Any idea how to change the file type so I can load the videos straight to an Iphone? Seems like the file type isn't supported and it makes editing videos a pain in the butt.
For real state with medium low light could be best the wasp?
If your cinewhoop fits a 19mm camera absolutely! I think this would be an awesome option for indoor flights
I was told that you can’t remove the DJI Goggles Integra OSD text in recording, but I see you have no text on your video. How did you do that?
I'm not using Goggles integra on this flight. When I filmed this video I used DJI Goggles V2
Ah. Thank you.
at the start you say caddx nebular pro micro, later you dont say. but it looks like the standard nebukar pro could you confirm please?
I compare it to the nebula pro micro through the whole video, just forgot to put micro text on the goggle footage 👍
@@TRONCATFPV awesome thanks, great video and would love to see the rig with 2 cameras and vista/links, thanks again
and as always i enjoyed the video and can't thank you enough for all your hard work! can you please tell me what the difference is between RunCam Link Wasp &
DJI Air Unit Wasp. not $ but there is 3 options to buy I do see the first is the camera solo but the second two options. what are the difference? I'm sorry I'm new to this and following your steps to build my own drone but I want to go with digital. i wish I could have a build script. and you explain the parts for which is which. like details! the last video you did for an affordable price I believe is not digital. Thank you so much in advance!
The Runcam Link is just their name for Caddx Vista aka Air unit lite. The Air Unit is the DJI unit w/2 antennas & onboard recording.
The major light source on the wasp also looks a lot more like an atomic explosion, excuse me for trolling, mate..
Just getting into fpv drones and I am going to build your real-estate 2.5 drone. Ordering parts this Wednesday to start it. Could I use this camera setup on it instead of the Runcam Falcon Nano on that build if I got the DJI goggles? Or would you just stick to the 2.5 drone build completely the way it is?
stick the to the parts in the 2.5" parts list, unfortunately the wasp won't fit the pavo25 frame
@@TRONCATFPV yeah I thought about that after watching the video and looked at dimensions but thanks for the response. I look forward to this build it should be a fun one
@@TRONCATFPV for a receiver would the TX16S MKII work for the pavo25 build? I like that controller and have used it before but if you have a better one in mind let me know
Yes that controller will work great with this build!
I am new to FPV and drones and just got a Pavo 25 and just starting to learn to fly. I can’t believe how well you fly in the real estate video as I can barely fly 10 feet without crashing lol. Will be on sim and practicing like crazy
I will purchase that for the pavo build. Is the air unit the same as Caddx Polar Nano
This camera won't work with the pavo25 frame since it is 19x19. For the pavo25 you'll need a nano sized camera (14x14)
In my opinion the best camera for the build that is similar to the wasp would be Runcam's Falcon nano kit: shop.runcam.com/runcam-link-falcon-nano-kit/
and yes the air unit lite, caddx vista, and runcam link are all the same air unit 👍
@@TRONCATFPV thank you as always for the great reply. I am becoming a big fan of you and maybe i will join patreon
@@dimitarnaydenov90 Thanks, happy to help!
well the wasp has tons of the smearing problem when flying close to the ground in green grass area's so much it can be unflyable try flying in a forest area with green grass and tree's you cant but the nebula pro you can fly it has no smearing problems and everybody i know that bought this wasp switched the camera to the dji cam or the nebula pro because of the smearing problem.
Can you setup this camera to work with an FPV monitor?
Lower latency than the Phoenix?
is it possible to configure OSD in Runcam Wasp ? How?
Definitely wasp for me.
Brand new to this… why do you have a camera and a GoPro?
👍
Only thing.. 4:3. why? Everything I have is 16:9.. looks funky to see a 1/3 or more of my screen not in use.. and an almost vertical video.
4:3 is the way to go, 16:9 cuts out vertical FOV and makes it harder to see what you are doing
@@Atlas_FPV Does it fill the full OLED screens in the goggles though? If it cuts off left/right side (black bars) that bugs the crap out of me. I hear you.. but at the same time I want the full display in use, not left/right black bars.
Main reason for me is because its a bigger image. The black bars on the side don't bother me.
@@TRONCATFPV Interesting. I don't know why.. maybe years of 16:9 movies, video recording in it, etc.. they just bug me. lol. Looks like one of the other two cameras would be better suited for my needs.
@@b3owu1f 16:9 is usually the one that cuts off the top and bottom data from the sensor to fill the 16:9 goggle screen. Losing significant FOV
Unless it’s a 16:9 sensor camera (which is rare) you lose a lot of information.
Widescreen doesn’t make sense for flight or optics as pitch and image height is very important for flight. That’s why I don’t like a lot of the new widescreen goggles. But that’s the standards unfortunately, widescreen for displays, and 4:3 for image sensors :p
I have a widescreen goggle and just use 4:3. The optics are crap at seeing the full 16:9 screen anyway. As they generally see a circle and a square fits pretty good in that optical circle and a wide rectangle, not so much :p
The Wasp is far better at Dusk than any other DJI camera flying fast ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Nebula has way to much latency ,, the Polar is unflyable doing flips or any kind of freestyle
Nebula PRO has the same exact specs as this. Literally the same internals in the cameras.
The nebula pro is 28ms low latency token same as the wasp....just has more features...I fly 4:3 instead of 16 9 so I like the wasp alot because it's 40 bucks cheaper
хороший обзор
No shit dude you drive a CR-Z?????
Haha yep! Also have a 370z
@@TRONCATFPV bro that is so sick, my cousin drives a CR-Z as well, he’s the only person I’ve seen have one in irl, was def not expecting to see one here, how do you like it? Is it stock? 6 speed?
haha I love the CRZ. Compared to my 370z the gas mileage is night and day. I think I average about 20mpg in the 370 and 45mpg in the CRZ lol.
Mine is an automatic, I got it off carvana and they didn't have any stick shift options available unfortunately. The CRZ has to be one of the only hybrids that offers a manual option. Is your cousins a manual?
@@TRONCATFPV yes his is a 6 speed !! And dude yeah the fuel economy is insane in those things, he can rip it fairly hard and still get 40+ mpg, he’s stock engine wise, he’s done small things like shifter bushings but yeah, it’s a fun car to ride in for sure
