These secret opening boxes save money, hide jewelry, or any small keepsake in an elegant way.
    Here is the trick to opening the box. You need to follow the appropriate procedure in order to open the box. If you take a good look at it, you will notice that it has a sliding panel. The box opens when you get the right combination. You need to go through X10 steps in order to open the trick box. (If you have a hard time opening it, you can always open it by following the instructions in the user manual that comes with the box.)

    Yes they are truly works of art. Bought my first one about 22yrs ago in Hakone and fell in love with them there and then. Bought a 28stage one last year. Be careful when putting the lid back on those…. If you put it on the wrong way and try to close it they usually lock up.

    Alex,have you tried Houdini ?
    I bought Houdini years ago but still haven't tried the many puzzles.

      Houdini came in a box, he was carton and looked 8ft tall ! There were rings,strings etc. I managed to solve puzzle 1 but the poor chap looked so fragile I put him in a cupboard 😂
      Those puzzle boxes are great;main problem I have is to return them to their original configuration !
      I finished Digits yesterday....cheated twice 😮 and have lots more Smart puzzles to drive me mad !
