I think it may be well over 20 years since the last time I saw this, and yet, I still remember how cool I thought it was. I wish I could have this on my phone or something
I remember this from back in the day, I specifically remember complaining to my friends mom that she shouldn't leave a computer on, completely unaware that was the point of Screen savers XD
In academy back in the 90s we were not allowed games on our computers in the dorm. So I would watch this instead. Guys would literally come to my room in the dorm to watch a screen saver. How times have changed...
This is an inaccurate depiction. Seems like part of the top and bottom are cut off. The way I remember it, as the final machine is being lowered, right at the end Arnold turns to his head to look at [you] right before his head disappears at the bottom of the screen. I'll never forget those glowing red eyes! LOL. Also, there were the random "invalid" ones that get rejected... where there was a casting error or something, and the machine skeleton didn't get properly encased in synthetic skin. I don't remember what happened to those rejected ones though.. (it's been a few years since I watched this hehe)
When I was a kid, my parents thought I got kidnapped in a store because I was so mesmerized by this screen saver in a Sam's Club electronics department that I didn't pay attention to the PA system calling my name.
I have the T2 Entertainment CD-Rom and I wish I can run it on Windows 10. Because the SCR file does not support it. Thank you for Posting, It brings alot of Memories.
Back in the 90s we would sit in front of computer screens and just watch screensavers.
I actually did it in 1996 with this very screensaver
My dad showed me this on his computer at Ohio Edison. As a 10 year old I thought it was the coolest thing ever

I thought I had been losing my mind remembering this! I couldn't find the damn thing. But holy shit it did exist.

I wish someone would make a version of this for modern systems. I loved it back in the day.
It would be nice. I don't think any company would bother to though. The screensavers will run on Windows XP Service Pack 3.
I had a CD with this on it, was the coolest. There were others on there too
I just randomly remembered this and went looking for it, found it on Internet Archive, but it isn't compatible with modern Windows. :(
I this on a 3.5" disk, bought it in CompUSA back in the nineties, too bad it doesn't work on Win10
It works on Windows XP

I never saw the whole thing (it runs for two years) but I also never saw it in color! ah the old monochrome days..
