Schwarzenegger without his accent is absolutely cursed
That’s Arnold dubbed in Spanish… I didn’t find out he had an accent until 8 was 18 years old. I was shocked! 🤯😂
How about that accent without the Schwarzenegger?
😂@@dylanhuculak8458
Correct
@@ernievc No, try the dubbed version of Arnold in Hercules in New York.
It's a dude playing a dude disguised as another dude.

He doesn't break character until the last DVD is signed.
Tropic Thunder haha! Quality
Milli Vanilli
Kinda like Total Recall
It's the perfect example of something that should under no circumstances make the final cut but must by all means be included in the DVD extras.
It need a bit of work, maybe the Candy video should be a bit more ominous. Someone up there said it reminded them of the Robocop OCP corporate videos and I kind of agree.
@@AlexGonzalez-gf4ozwell, it literally is a corporate video
I agree. It was cool to see, but the comedic element could have derailed the mood of the film. I also think they were a bit scrappy aligning the Samuel l Jackson voice with Arnold. Even if you have never heard Arnold speak, it would look like a weird dub
Yeah, T3 was a 3 star movie but unlike more modern movies (eg The Last Jedi) they knew that inappropriate dumb humor would derail the movie.
Definitely agree. It reminded me instantly of RoboCop and Starship troopers. They are fun and super entertaining, i love it.
But absolutely unfitting and over the top for any terminator film.
So Skynet actually fixed the accent. Neat.
I think they made exchange voice because the guy say “we can fix it” got Arnold voice lol
I thought the guy with glasses was a young arnold at first
@ur mom uhmm no ? they just swap voice in this movie to make the joke, T-800 was alway voice by Arnord.
@ur mom oh ok my bad.
The southern accent was provided by samuel l Jackson
Arnold's character through time:
T1- The Terminator
T2- Uncle Bob
T3- Sgt. Candy
T5- Pops
T6- Carl
T4 - Barry McCGI-face.

T1, a cold and scary killing machine, T3 onwards, a stand up comic.

Yeah see Arnold’s terminator character will forever be the terminator from the terminator as terminator 2 he was uncle bob not killing shit
This feels more like a parody movie instead of the actual film.
I think it's Arnies actual sense of humor.
Tbone 223 they’ve all been parodies since 2

That's basically T3.
“We can fix it.” 😂😂
This guy is overdubbed by Arnold self. But Arnold is overdubbed by Samuel L. Jackson.

The joke has even another layer, because for Arnold's first Hollywood movie they dubbed him in the post-production without telling him :D

I know the distributor in Germany would not let him do his own German dub in The Terminator because his accent is the farmer-hick accent of German.

Wonder how Sgt Candy reacted when the police came and arrested him after the events of Terminator 1 and 2.
Well, I can at least imagine he was crying out his innocence right up until they pulled the switch on the electric chair.
Hahaha good point
that's simple, Sgt. Candy was probably not born or still a kid during T1 and in his teens or early 20's by T2, hence he didn't look like that yet... I think
@@redozmasoma Nope, this film takes place in 2003 and the guy is clearly in his fifties like Arnold was during filming. Meaning he'd look exactly like the terminator during the events of the first movie.
@@redozmasoma
If Candy is the same age as Arnold. then he would be 56 in this video.
48 during T2 and 37 during T1.
note that T2 was shot in 1991 but takes place in 1995. (so Arnold was 44)
"I'd buy that for a dollar"
Agreed, total robocop vibe so cool.

@@CraigBickerstaff well he just got to get a good lawyer
He was Judgment Day'd long before... RIP soldier.
He probably died during the nuclear holocaust

And nobody noticed that the sergeant looks exactly like the guy who did things like... Oh idk, kill an entire police station years ago?
Probably another reason why it was deleted.
Nobody "noticed" because nobody survived.
There were no witnesses.
Other than some bikers who would never go to the cops. And that crazy guy they threw into a mental ward.
@@pwnmeisterage but they still have pictures of him shooting the police station
Candy was probably a kid when that happened. Instant alibi thanks to time travel.
E simples não e o t800 original que destruiu a delegacia, esse filme e uma versão alternativa dos eventos dos dois primeiros filmes...
They really should have used this as the opening scene, everyone would have been immediately invested.
in a universe where they didnt got the patents from cyberdine YOU MORON.
Nobody will take this movie seriously if they opened with this...
This scene would of been ok if it wasn't for the over the top voice they gave Arnie.
Pasu suel Well Terminator 2 slightly changed the future of 2029 when John sends Kyle back. So that could’ve changed.
@@Nicholas_Chen_ I think of the terminator 3 as a standalone action/comedy film.
You gotta admit, Arnold is a pretty great actor. How quickly and unnaturally he changed his face so it looks like he already is a Terminator. Love it
Despite all the flaks at the accent, when it comes to facial expression and body movement, Arnold is unmatched. He has great comic timing and his face never fails to exploit that.
I think his defining performance in this regard is Conan the Barbarian. Back then his accents and line reading was downright terrible and the production team put great efforts to hedge that, but most importantly, John Milius made this conscious choice to make the movie a de facto silent epic: Delivery of character and emotion through facial closeup rather than spoken lines. Arnold fucking kills it with his larger than life expressions and big, stately posture.
I just got a Starship Troopers vibe from this.... I would like to know more😂
Do you want know more?
I don't know about Starship Troopers, but I defiantly got a Small Soldiers vibe xD
I'd buy that for a dollar!
Verhoven has his preference in cameras settings and lightning, it's obvious.

If you want an explanation for the T-800 model 101's appearance that doesn't suck, in the Terminator novels, it was based on a CIA operative named Dieter von Rossbach, who was one of the few people Skynet could find in its records whose body was large enough to conceal the T-800 endoskeleton.
@RG-hj2ky 28 upvotes says no.
So what Terminator version was the one in T1 that in the future infiltrated Kyle Reese's base? Thought it was also a Mr. Olympia
@@dennisboon6651 Yeah it was Franco Columbu who also apparently won Mr. Olympia. I don't know which model it was supposed to be. I do know that Arnold is model 101.
Why not have Dutch, the sole survivor of the platoon that went up against the Predator, be the model?
If you want to see a serious take on who the human template was, and how he reacts to learning of what his likeness was used for, I highly recommend the novel T2: Infiltrator.
It’s the first of a trilogy that explores John and Sarah’s life after the film, where they team up with the man who was used as the template, who’s dialogue is actually written in Arnold’s accent.
The books are very much in tone with the film and feel like a natural progression of the story.
Thanks man! The Randall Frakes novel is amazing too
Terminator Resistance gave us the template for the T-1000s default form as well. Sadly, it isn't fleshed out like the T-800s in the novel, as he's already dead, it's just a little call-back.
I had no idea these novels existed, thanks!

Fun fact: Samuel L. Jackson used his voice for Arnold in this scene
LPZ No, he absolutely did not. What are you smoking?
@@TheSaxualHealer Yup, he did just search it up. I have no clue what you're smoking.
I don't think that voice is Sam's, this maybe irrelevant, but it sounds like Benny(Mel Johnson Jr.) from Total Recall (1990 version starred Arnold)

This feels more like something you'd see in Starship Troopers. Arnold's voice dub sounded super off to me, but him dubbing the guy in the room actually made the scene hilarious for me!
This film’s a masterpiece compared to what came after. The ending was just superb in that they only postponed Judgement Day for a while but it was always going to happen. Wish it ended here.
Absolutely agree, with only one caveat: future war from that point forward. And if future war, make it like Aliens, where it was an action based story but, with heavy horror elements. If they go on and on about how the future war is a nightmare, it should be portrayed that way, instead of an “us against them” war story that’s been done ad nauseam.
Domino44Gs This film still sucks. T1 and T2 only exists.
i actually liked "salvation" way more than this comedy of a film.
at least they didn't reuse the "send back android through time" storyline.
a film set in the future is what should have happened. too bad they didn't do it right with sam worthington or whatever his name is.. they should have cut that character and made it all about bale's connor.
@@basteaguisalvation and dark fate are the only worthwhile ones after t2, this one and genisys are garbage
In comparison yes, but, in my opinion, this film is awful hahaha, for me only 1 and 2 are canon
That's how Arnold actually talks, his English is so good that he had to take lessons to relearn how to speak with the accent.
Yep. Saw that interview where he related that story of how he lost his austrian accent and had to relearn it. Have heard his normal accent that he uses in private and away from the public, and it's more Californian American than anything else. In this clip he was putting on a kind of Midwestern states accent, with some folksy charm mixed in
Probably the best scene of that movie and it was deleted. I saw it a long time ago, but it was good to remember it.
Thanks for sharing!
Not a deleted scene, just labelled falsely as such on the DVD!
This was actually filmed specifically for the game. They had Arnold available on set, already being paid, so decided to have some fun for the tie-in game. The way he in-jokes with the smile should be enough to realise that. :)
What game?

Finally, I understand why T 800’s and 850’s human face and skin are the same with Arnold Schwarzenegger’s.

I liked terminator 3 only because of the talk to the hand that ending
I don't care what anyone says....I loved this movie!!
This would’ve been a cool way to show why every terminator looks like Arnold
Only model 101 looks like Arnold. Other models look like Franco Columbo.
@@MrZillas Exactly. There's no doubt other models too because if they all looked like Arnold the Resistance would be able to spot them every single time.
Mind you there was the T-600 and everyone within several hundred meters would be able to tell that was a Terminator, being 8ft tall and the rubber face that looks like Jason Voorhees or Mike Myers.
Watcher Zero well that was Salvation’s version of the T-600. The Sarah Connor Chronicles did a version of the T-600 that looked very human like, but the give away was the shiny rubber like skin. I preferred the TSS version over the 8 foot tall clanker with the mini-gun attached to its arm Salvation version.
Maybe some day a movie will come, how the resistance did capture a T-800 or a model 101, and the history about the captured skin model Skynet uses all the time 😊

I like the idea behind this scene of explaining how skynet got the likeness for the T-800 models but the execution is too light for the tone of the film, which is why i think it was cut.
In the minute 1:52 after this scene i would had introduced the scene of an horrorific future and then the main theme with the Terminator Logo, as an intro.

This deleted scene just encapsulates everything wrong with t3 and the franchise as a whole after t2.
We can fix it
This was never gonna make it into the final cut, but I'm glad they decided to shoot it anyway.
I love this. It gives us insight on the creation of the Terminator model.
I agree, but their execution comes off as a little too corny. I can see why it was a deleted scene.
Jim Kid Yeah, I have to agree.. I wish we got this like now, with a young Arnold CGI-ed acting as the base for the T-101 from T1. But I’ll let the corniness fly because it reminds me so much of Robocop or Starship Troopers.
It actually makes no sense whatsoever and ruins the original timeline. Skynet was supposed to be simply a defense system that at one point becomes self aware and launches nukes to provoke a war that would destroy humans, the machines and ESPECIALLY the Terminators were supposed to be invented later, way after the Judgement Day, to infiltrate and eliminate what remained of the human race. In T1 Kyle Reese explains that first models had rubber skin and were easily traceable, and "these (the T-800's) were new". We can safely assume there was no T-800 models before 2025 or so in the original timeline, so placing the invention of the model before the war and attributing it to humans is just plain stupid.
I rewatched T3 again and it wasnt as bad as I remembered, setup good for a t4 in the war.
Can't believe that T2 is highest grossing movie in the Terminator movie series till now.
When goofy southern Arnold goes blank faced at the end I busted up. This is a great scene.
Somehow, T3 somehow improved since TDF and TGen came out...
If you can't get better, at least you can't get any worse :p
Imagine watching the T-800 in terminator 1&2 with the knowledge it was inspired by Sgt.CANDY. Definitely loses that badass feel a little bit.
I wish this t was kept in the movie, yeah its silly and almost like a parody , but frankly the majority of the movie alredy felt like one.
Plus, them giving us a canon explanation as to why the 101 models have an austrian accent is actually pretty neat in my opinion
your point don't make sense,Arnold in this clip has no austrian accent.
Doesn't the original story go that the terminator units (called infiltration units ) were designed and built during the war by skynet, not before by humans. This scene (and much of this movie) takes a crap on the original terminator film.
@@marciocardoso75D it does make sense. In the scene, they said they wanted to change the accent, and a guy with an Austrian accent like Arnold's said "we can fix it."

Even T4 (Salvation)?
@@Betin264 That one is better
@@williamochoa8492 Exactly. "Terminator: Salvation" is the best sequel after T2, even with a lot of things that I really didn't like (as Marcus being the main character, instead John Connor), but was the first Terminator movie (and the only) that focus on the future, in the war against machines.
T3 could be better than it was, but I really didn't like Edward Furlong being replaced in the role of John Connor (nothing against Nick Stahl).
I love this because it tied the lore of Skynet, Cyberresearch systems, the military, and the T800 together and gives and in-universe explanation on why Arnold’s look was reused.
The tech here and in T3 is very similar to the tech in the Future scenes of the main trilogy, Salvation, and the start of Genesys. They even have the prototype T600-800 terminator robots *and* the sculpt for the T800 “head”. Even before things like the T600s I believe, they were designing things like humanoid robots, complete with “flesh” over a metal skeleton. To say nothing on the air and ground Hunter Killers being either completed or r day for field testing.
And then of course, there is Sgt. William Candy himself. He very presence explains why Arnold kept coming back *in-universe.* Candy isn’t just the original donor, he’s the the groundwork, and template that *ALL* “human” terminators; T600, T800, T850, T1000, TX, T3000, Matcus in Salvation, the “Skynet Terminator” in Genesys, Dark Fate’s villain, all of them… are built off of. Of course the machines would still use him for their terminators, he was the groundwork for them and was instrumental to the skeleton terminators creation even into the future.
Imagine T-800 with that white southern accent. Lmao!
JOKER QUEEN especially the "fuck you asshole" scene in T1
