- This video talks about the Basics of angiography of the retina i.e Fundus fluorescein angiography ( FFA). FFA is an invasive diagnostic modality to study the vascular architecture of the retina, choroid and the iris. the retinal/ fundus fluorescein angiography has many phases namely; choroidal phase, arterial phase, av phase and venous phase and the late recirculation phase

amazing video as always! thank you so much doctor🙂 Love watching your videos
Thank you @liorak 😊
great video!
I am Ophthalmic photographer, If you start taking photographs from 5 second, patient will not cooperate in test, If you keep room light dim or off you could see early flow to start after 15 to 30 seconds
Really I'm very thankful to you madam..🙏
Keep Do more Videos...❤
Sure! Keep supporting:)
Thanks Dr👍
Gracias!!!!
Thank u!
Clear and direct as usual 👏👏👏
Thank you mam
Laminar flow seen in late arteriovenous phase, not early
Thanks
Does anyone know where you can do an FFA photography course?
Nice lecture mam .
Thank you
Is the cilioretinal artery always visible in the FFA?
Why do the veins begin to fill proximal to the disc (25:00) ? My understanding always was that the blood travels from the arteries to the capillaries and than backwards from the small veins to the bigger veins back to the heart. But in this case the small veins should highlight first, which they do not? Little confused about that.
Both vessels arteries and veins enter the retina through the disc as a portal. So everything gets filled first at the disc and then the periphery.
How to get appointment
Can we visualise pathologies with FFA below RPE?
Yes ! Like PED, and RPE Defects
