The Standard Gauge out west and the broad gauge line towards Ballarat run through Geelong. i caught a similar grain train geelong bound on monday (10/5/21) XR Class triple header with XR 555 leading, XR553 in the middle and XR554 bringing up the rear, manged to grab a crappy video of it passing thru Ballarat

Triple XR is the norm these days so the train can actually get up Warrenheip Bank!

Great collection there Brenden, "Signal Markers" in VIC equal to "Repeater Signals" in NSW. Nice to see some "G" class in FA colours, although they are a wee bit scruffy looking. Some dickhead dumped a heap of rubbish near the crossing too, pig.

Yeah plenty of rubbish in the area. It's always great to see some Broad Gauge freight as well.

I saw CLF4 and some VL class locos hauling a long container train (like the one at @10:15) going past Tottenham Station around 1am this morning! :)

Would have been CLF and EL. All VLs in Victoria are on BG with Qube and others are based interstate.

The horns on those 1100 class locos are pathetic

They aren't that loud compared to others but the locos are interesting
