The Locher Room will reunite former One Life To Live stars including: Emmy Award-winning actors Robert S. Woods and Hillary B. Smith (Bo and Nora Buchanan), real-life couple Kassie and James DePaiva (Blair Cramer and Max Holden) and Tuc Watkins (David Vickers Buchanan) on Thursday, May 21st at 2PM EST.

I so wish they would bring back One Life to Live!
I loved it. But then they had that lady that was a medium on, and Jessica's altars, and I absolutely could not stand Rex and Gigi or Jack. I was sad to stop watching, but I couldn't stand it anymore.

I love these characters and OLTL. Honestly l will never understand why the show was canceled. So happy Cassie is doing well and praising God!
These are the actors, not characters. The show was canceled due to low viewership and ABC wanted to produce cheaper programming.
They had good ratings at the time. It was a poor decision. Frons wanted talk shows because they are cheaper to produce

They did not cancel because of low viewership. OLTL had way more viewers than its replacement show The Revolution which was canceled less than a year later. ABC and Disney canceled because they were greedy and wanted to produce much cheaper talk shows.
@@cindyb5048 It's extraordinarily sad when people will not listen to facts, but that's the America we live in. The FACT is that *at the time of its cancellation* OLTL and AMC's viewership numbers were too low: at the time of its cancellation, AMC was averaging about 2.5 million viewers; five years before that it was averaging about 3.2 million. When AMC finally went off the air, that week it averaged about 3 million viewers. At the time of OLTL's cancellation, it averaged about 2million; when it went off the air, the finale alone netter 3,840,000 million viewers with a 2.7 rating. You know why? Because people tuned into the FINALES too watch their shows go off the air, but the regular ratings were bad. ... In its final months on ABC, OLTL also did something that almost no cancelled soaps had ever done in the modern era (including AMC): it actually saw an increase in viewers over a sustained period under headwaiter Ron Carlivati and producer Frank Valentini. That increase was not enough to save it or AMC, though. ... Second, you introduced something stupid: yes, OLTL's viewership was higher at the time of cancellation of The Revolution, but the two things have nothing to do with each other. People simply did not like The Revolution (part of it due to the backlash against The Revolution and The Chew). However, The Chew actually settled into a ratings groove not dissimilar to OLTL's; it was canceled mainly due to the sexual harassment/Metoo controversy surrounding Mario Batali, and they lost a large portion of viewership before e going off the air, as well. .... Finally, if you notice above, I actually say explicitly that ABC wanted to produce cheaper programming. While I find that messed as soap fan, it's not unreasonable. You call it greedy, but it was estimated at the time that OLTL and AMC cost about $50 million each to produce. So ABC was looking at $100 million annual investment in properties they did not see and upside to do. But once they saw The Revolution tank, their first attempt at a third hour of GMA crash, and in the middle of it all GH stabilize, maybe ABC execs thought they made a mistake (especially after Brian Frons left after AMC and OLTL went off the air). However, it is a fact that ABC cancelled the shows because the ratings were low AND they wanted to produce cheaper programming in-house under the news division. The end.
I had the pleasure of meeting Kassie and James here in upstate NY. They have a home not far from my home in Oneonta, NY. (Which is near Cooperstown and the ⚾️ Hall of Fame). They are the most personable, down to earth couple, and Kassie has the most beautiful voice! The writers now for my favorite show Y&R are horrible. I have watched since the premiere and yes I am a senior citizen.
They are quite lovely.
I miss one Life to live. I wish that one Life to live can come back to ABC Network

Aww, look. It's David, Pa, and Stepnora. That scene they mentioned of Bob Woods in the tub of tomato sauce after getting sprayed by the skunk has stayed in my mind over the years because it was so hilarious. Bob Woods was a major crush of mine in my teens and early 20s watching OLTL. He's still pretty handsome now as a silver fox.
My screen name was a mix of his name and Melanie MacIver (Darlene Vogel) who was Bo's girlfriend. They were one of my favorite couplings on the show.
I have loved seeing Hilary reprise the role of Nora on GH. I especially loved seeing her defend Tonja Walker's (Alex Olanov) character. She showed up to court hung over saying her son Matthew was getting married and she had gotten drunk the night before at Destiny's bachelorette party. At the end of the trial, Tonja Walker's character told Nora to say hello to that cowboy husband of hers for her.
I would love to see John and Natalie (Michael Easton and Melissa Archer) on here. Also John Paul Levoissier who played Rex. And what about Jake and Megan (Joe Lando and Jessica Tuck). Maybe even John Loprieno and Andrea Evans (Cord and Tina).

Kassie Depaiva looks amazing still so young and beautiful. She looks better than she did when she was on Guiding Light 30 years ago.
I was so mad when she let Robin cut her hair off LOL. I was devastated because she has the most beautiful hair I've ever seen. I'm so glad she is healthy now, and I totally agree with you.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE HILLARY B. SMITH!!!! What a class act!!! And an awesome lady!!! She brightens up any room she is a part of. I hope she reads this to see how very appreciated she is. I loved her as Margo and followed her to OLTL. She was also fantastic as Nora. She gives her all to everything she does. She is someone you would be so lucky and blessed to know in real life. You all look the same... I’m the girl that use to hang out the abc studio with my kids on west 66 th . Those were the good old days. Robert I remember running into you when you got gas in Pelham you said you got off the hutch to get gas. I miss you all. Will oltl ever return?

I was so fortunate to have been able to meet Kassie and Hillary in Nashville they are truly wonderful, pleasant, kind, and hilarious ladies. It was a moment I will never forget and treasure forever. The day Kassie DePaiva serenaded me was the most spectacular moment of my life, tied with getting married and purchasing my dream home. Hillary is so funny and such a passionate person. I can't believe how down to earth these awesome people are. I only got to meet them for a very short period of time, however, these are folks you can easily make a wonderful connection with. Such joyous, beautiful, lovely women, I just think the world of them!!!!!
Thank you so much for doing this. My mom passed away last year. OLTL was one of her FAVORITE soaps. Watching this gave me a little piece of her today. I miss her and our time we would the show together.
Miss you all horribly!! My grandmother had me watching all ABC soaps since I was 8. I loved aone Life the best! Miss you guys. They should have never canceled the show for cooking and talk shows. People, especially today, need what ypu all so amazingly gave us....A great and entertaining escape from this crazy world! Wish they would being you back. I know your fans would still be there!!!

1:06:07 "todd was as abusive as they come" tnb are one of my favorite soap couples, but it's really important that stuff like this is acknowledged, both on and off-screen, and i'm glad that kassie brought it up and that tnb was able to bring so much to so many people, not just in the shipping aspect, but in bringing awareness to such a heavy subject.
Loved the interaction between these people. You can tell that they are all real friends

That was so cool. Years n years ago soaps use to go around playing softball against each other. I just remember i met Robert Woods and so many others from one life, edge of night. Was a fun time... thanks for the memories

I didn't get to watch this show much back before On Demand but I wish we could watch One Life To Live in HD like the other shows these days. I miss seeing these people at least once in awhile.

I loved watching all ABC7NY soaps from Ryan’s Hope thru General Hospital every summer growing up at my grandmas house. I’ve met Hillary out and about in NJ but was never able to thank her for the memories. They come flooding back every time I see her. Thank for the memories, it was amazing growing up in the 80’s and 90’s

Loved OLTL!! Was so sad when it went off. Wish they could have just combined it with GH. Bo and Nora were my favorite! Was so irritating it took so long to get them back together!! Was so glad they finally did. Liked Clint with Vicki:-). Liked when (I think it was Jessica and Natalie) had babies on the same day (can't remember if it was 1-11-11 or...). So many good stories on this show! Watched it for years. When it went off I officially became soap opera free!! (Did watch on the new channel too).

I met Kassie and James when Kassie, Kathy Brier, and Bobbie Eakes were performing here in upstate NY. Kassie and James were so personable, amazing, and very down to earth. The three women are wonderful singers!!!!!!

I just found this, this is great. Thanks for the reunion. I loved OLTL. It was so bitter sweet for me when it ended. I went through 5 years of infertility and my due date was January 16, 2012. The first Monday without OLTL. I was so excited to meet my baby but so sad OLTL wasn't going to be on anymore. This feels like a life time ago.

If/when they bring it back, I hope they don't 'modernize' it and remember it's roots - normal people dealing with real life issues. Don't try to 'super size' the characters. Omg thank you so much for this! I’ve never gotten to meet James (sadface) but I’ve met Woodsy, Tuc, Hill and Kassie a few times and they always made me feel so happy and appreciated. I loved OLTL and the entire cast so this was an absolute treat to experience during all this crazy.

Thank you for expanding past ATWT and GL. I actually watched all the shows so I enjoy seeing these as much as I did the others. I agree with what James DePaiva said about looking forward to the hour each day. When I was really young, it was very true. I watched the ABC soaps first and the two hours a day after school was very soothing for me because I was experiencing some tough things during the rest of the time.
Thank you. It was lovely to see all them them on one screen laughing and sharing their memories. James was right about how important the day to day continuity of following a story & seeing familiar faces can be. When times are bad there is a feeling of home - being able to immerse your self in an hour escape from reality. Soaps echo the human experience, often in an exaggerated fashion, so there is always a character which allows you to reflect and gain insight on how we interact. Good to see all of them appearing healthy & happy!
