I was so excited to receive my new scroll saw that I just had to tell all ot you. If you are thinking about a higher end saw, this is an excellent option.
How do you like your Seyco? I am wanting to order one and looking at videos. It's either the Seyco or Pegas. I am leaning of the Seyco. It comes with a stand and I like the idea of the magnetic cover on the table. Thanks for any info you can give me.
lol,,i just got out of the scroll saw crave,,i ordered a jet from home depot and when you went to insert the blade thru the wood it keep pulling away from the bottom clamp,,and needless to say the blade end up bending,,lol,,so i believe my scrolling sawing days are over,,lol,,ill stick to making furniture,,
So sorry you had a bad experience. Sometimes taking sandpaper on the bottom screw will help hold the blade in place. Honestly, I don’t know anything about the Jet scroll saw. I would say that it is the medium line of saws but many people enjoy them. I hope you reconsider and still try scrolling.
well i decided on the jet and everytime i loosen it on top to feed it thru the hole the bottom comes out,,and needless to say it ends up bending the blade,,,i think it take a special kind of person to do this,,,and lol,,its not me,,,sending it back tomorrow,,

thats one of the reason i bought it from home depot,,,if i had bought a pagas or seyco i would have been stuck with it,,and i thought it was a good scroll saw...its 999,00 at home depot,,
That’s almost the price of a Pegas or Seyco. One of the thing about my saw is that it comes directly from the distributor instead of a third person. I like the fact that I can call them up and ask them questions if necessary.
i was watching steve good and he said you could not tilt the head to make a 45 degree cut,,do you think this is a big issue,,,,and is there a reason you picked seyco over the pegas,,im sorry for all these questions but im a newbie,,lol
When you are considering a large purchase like this, I think it is great to research as much as you can. It is true that my saw cannot go to 45°, but there is only one application that I can think of that I am unable to do. It will cut scroll, saw bowls, except for the extreme slant needed in some bowls. I really didn’t think I needed that function. Other than that, it’s a wonderful saw. Price with the table included is why I chose this over the Pegas.
Just got mine yestetday and am loving it!! Watching your video encouraged me to get a Seyco over a Peagus! Thank you!!

In the U.S. we use 110 volt. You can check with Seyco.com to see if it can be changed to 220. Thanks for watching.

I believe it was about 3 days. UPS. The customer service is excellent.
